How the December Arrest Happened

A Venus Police Department officer responding to an unrelated call noticed a white BMW with its lights on parked outside a house and identified Trevino in the front seat. When the officer returned to the residence, Trevino was on the front porch. She complied with commands and was handcuffed, and a records check turned up the two active felony warrants. She was booked into the Ellis County Jail and later released on a $15,000 bond.4Dallas Morning News. North Texas Influencer Ash Trevino Arrested on Felony Charges

What She Faces If Convicted

State jail felonies are the lowest felony classification in Texas. A conviction on either count carries a possible sentence of six months to two years in a state jail facility and a fine of up to $10,000. Time in a Texas state jail is generally served day-for-day, without parole eligibility. A state jail felony conviction, even one that results in probation instead of confinement, remains a permanent felony record and affects voting rights, firearm ownership, and employment.1Fox 4 News. The Second Arrest and Revised Bond

On February 24, 2026, prosecutors filed a motion to hold Trevino’s bond insufficient, citing her own social media as evidence: Instagram images of her drinking at a birthday party, and a photo of a restaurant receipt that they said showed an alcohol purchase. On March 4, 2026, she was booked into the Ellis County Jail on a judge’s commitment order and released the same day. Her legal team denied that she had violated her bail conditions.5TMZ. Trevino is now prohibited from possessing, purchasing, or consuming alcohol or controlled substances, and must submit to random drug and alcohol testing. She cannot enter any establishment where alcohol is the primary commodity, and she cannot possess firearms.
