Ashford University closed and its academic records transferred to the University of Arizona Global Campus, so an Ashford University transcript request now goes through UAGC’s third-party ordering vendor, Parchment. The base fee is $15 per official transcript, and electronic copies are delivered as soon as the registrar processes the order.1University of Arizona Global Campus. Official Transcript Request The same process covers records from the University of the Rockies, Franciscan University of the Prairies, and Mount St. Clare.2University of Arizona Global Campus. Order Online Through Parchment
The quickest way is the UAGC transcript request page, which routes you to the Parchment storefront for UAGC. Enter the email tied to your student account and follow the prompts.3University of Arizona Global Campus. Transcript Request – Order Official UAGC Transcripts If you already have a Parchment account from another school, sign in with that same email so your orders stay together.
You’ll enter your personal details, pick a delivery method, and add the recipient’s name and address or email. Use the legal name you enrolled under at Ashford, otherwise the registrar may not be able to match your file. If you recently finished coursework and want final grades or your degree conferral to appear, choose the option at checkout to hold the order until those updates post. That’s better than placing a second order later.
A third party can also order your transcript for you. The recipient signs a consent form you provide and then places the order through Parchment.3University of Arizona Global Campus. Mail a Paper Request
If you’d rather send a paper form, download the Official Transcript Request PDF from the UAGC registrar page. Fill it out completely and mail it with payment to:
The University of Arizona Global Campus
Online Administrative Center
180 South Arizona Ave, Suite 301
Chandler, AZ 852251University of Arizona Global Campus. Official Transcript Request
The form asks for your name, date of birth, dates of attendance, student ID, and the recipient’s contact information. You’ll pick a delivery method and sign to authorize release. Pay by check or money order made out to UAGC. Mail transit adds time on both ends, so this route is slower than ordering online.
Fees and Delivery
Every official transcript costs $15. Shipping is added on top, depending on how you want it sent:1University of Arizona Global Campus. Official Transcript Request
- Electronic PDF: no additional charge, sent as a secure digital file to the recipient’s email.
- USPS domestic: $2.95 per transcript.
- FedEx domestic overnight: $35.00 per transcript.
- USPS international: $6.00 per transcript.
- FedEx international: $65.00 per transcript.
Electronic delivery is the cheapest and fastest option, and most employers and graduate programs accept a Parchment-delivered PDF as official. If a physical copy is required, standard USPS runs five to ten business days after the registrar releases the document. FedEx overnight is worth the cost when you’re on a tight application deadline.
How Long It Takes
Electronic transcripts arrive within about one business day after the registrar processes the order.4Parchment. How It Works – Students That timer starts once UAGC verifies your records and releases the document, which is itself a variable window. Graduation season and other peak periods can add several days to that verification step.
Paper transcripts print on security paper and go out in a sealed envelope with a registrar’s stamp across the flap. The document counts as official only if the seal reaches the recipient intact. Break the seal yourself and most institutions will treat the copy as unofficial. Whatever shipping method you chose gets added to the release date.
Check Your Coursework First With a Free Unofficial Copy
If you only need to review your own record or confirm your GPA, pull an unofficial transcript free through the myUAGC student portal. Log in, go to “My Degree,” and select “Unofficial Transcript.”2University of Arizona Global Campus. Office of the Registrar Unofficial copies aren’t accepted for formal applications, but they let you verify what your record shows before you pay for an official one.
Holds That Can Block Your Order
An unpaid balance at UAGC will not stop you from ordering a transcript. UAGC states this directly on its transcript request page,3University of Arizona Global Campus. Transcript Request – Order Official UAGC Transcripts and it lines up with federal regulations effective July 1, 2024 that bar institutions from withholding transcripts for payment periods in which the student received Title IV aid and all charges were paid or covered by a payment agreement.5eCFR. 34 CFR 668.14
Holds tied to identity verification or student conduct are different, and those will block your order until they’re cleared. Current students should reach their Student Advisor; former students should contact the relevant UAGC department directly.3University of Arizona Global Campus.
