The RSSB Accommodation Request Form is the paper application resident Indians use to reserve lodging at Dera Baba Jaimal Singh, the headquarters of Radha Soami Satsang Beas in Punjab. Pick up the form at your local satsang centre, complete it with a photocopy of the Aadhaar Card for every person who will stay, and mail the packet by Indian Post to the Accommodation Department at Dera up to five months before your planned arrival. Non-Resident Indians and non-Indian initiates do not use this form; they book through separate channels described below.
Which Booking Path Applies to You
Before you fill anything out, confirm you are in the group the paper form is meant for. RSSB sorts visitors into three categories, and only one uses the mailed Accommodation Request Form.
- Resident Indians submit the paper form by post directly to Dera’s Accommodation Department.
- Non-Resident Indians holding an Indian passport but living abroad apply through their country’s NRI Accommodation Coordinator, and must be seeking initiation (Naam Daan) during the current invitation period.
- Non-Indian initiates book through an eReservation system and may attend only one of four special sessions held each year for international guests.
Visitors without a confirmed reservation are not permitted entry, and walk-ins are not accommodated.
How to Get the Form
The Accommodation Request Form is handed out at local RSSB satsang centres, not downloaded. Find your nearest centre through the directory at satsanginfo.rssb.org or the regional listings at rssb.org/contact.html. Read the instructions printed on the reverse of the form before you fill it in; those instructions carry the most current guidance for your visit.
Filling Out the Form
The form collects personal and family details for everyone who will be staying. Enter your contact information and list every family member who needs lodging. Attach a photocopy of the Aadhaar Card for each person named. The Aadhaar photocopy is required, not optional, and you will need to present the original Aadhaar Card at check-in to receive your room assignment in a hostel or sarai.
Where and When to Mail It
Send the completed form and Aadhaar photocopies by Indian Post only. Courier services and email are not accepted. The address is:
Accommodation Department
Dera Baba Jaimal Singh
Radha Soami Satsang Beas
Distt. Amritsar, Punjab 143204
Requests can be made up to five months before your planned arrival. Postal delivery times vary across India, so mail early enough that the form reaches Dera in time to be processed within that window.
If You Are a Non-Resident Indian
NRIs do not mail the form to Dera. Contact the NRI Accommodation Coordinator in your country of residence. Bookings are accepted up to 180 days in advance and no fewer than 60 days before arrival. Submit a copy of your vaccination certificate with the request. Relatives living in India must apply separately under the resident Indian process from their own Indian address.
Once the reservation is confirmed, you will receive a Reservation Advice document. Bring a copy of it to Dera along with your original passport and original visa or OCI card, and report to the Accommodation Department when you arrive.
To qualify for an NRI Satsang Pass, your total time in India must not exceed 180 days in the 12 months preceding your booking date. Stays are capped at 15 days from the day of arrival, and no early arrivals or extensions are granted.
If You Are a Non-Indian Initiate
International visitors who are not of Indian origin must already be initiated and may attend only one of the four designated international guest sessions each year. Booking is done through the eReservation system rather than the paper form. Any overseas RSSB satsang centre can provide instructions for accessing the system and the full visitor guidelines for Dera.
What to Bring at Check-In
Resident Indians bring the original Aadhaar Card for every person listed on the form. NRIs bring the Reservation Advice, original passport, and original visa or OCI card. Sarai guests bring their own bedding; hostel rooms include bedding and have attached bathrooms. Room type is assigned based on availability and visitor category, and sarais are available only to Indian visitors.
Session dates and satsang schedules at Beas are published each year. Check the current schedule through your local centre or the RSSB website so your requested dates line up with actual program days before you mail the form.
