How to Cancel a FlickReels Subscription and Get a Refund

To cancel a FlickReels subscription, go to whichever platform processes your payment — Google Play, Apple, PayPal, or the FlickReels website — and turn off the recurring charge there. Deleting the app does nothing. Billing keeps running until you cancel at the source.

Cancel Through Google Play

If you signed up on an Android device, Google handles the billing.

  • Open the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, then “Payments & subscriptions,” then “Subscriptions.”
  • Tap FlickReels in the list.
  • Tap “Cancel subscription” and follow the prompts.

Google will confirm the cancellation. You keep access to premium features until the current billing period ends.1Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play

Cancel Through Apple

On an iPhone or iPad, all app subscriptions are managed in system settings, not in the app.

  • Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
  • Tap “Subscriptions.”
  • Tap the FlickReels entry.
  • Tap “Cancel Subscription.” You may need to scroll to find it. If you see an expiration date in red instead, the subscription is already canceled.

Confirm on the next screen and Apple stops all future charges.2Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple

Cancel Through PayPal

If PayPal is your payment method, canceling inside the FlickReels app or site may not be enough, because PayPal separately authorizes the recurring charge. Kill it at the source:

  • Log in to PayPal and open Settings.
  • Click “Payments.”
  • Select “Subscriptions and saved businesses” (sometimes labeled “Automatic Payments”).
  • Find FlickReels and select it.
  • Cancel the automatic payment.

Once the authorization is off, PayPal will decline any further charge attempts from FlickReels.3PayPal. What Is an Automatic Payment and How Do I Update or Cancel One

Cancel a Direct Website Subscription

If you signed up on the FlickReels website with a credit or debit card, log in and look for the cancel option in your account or billing settings, usually near your plan details or payment method.

If there is no visible cancel button, email FlickReels support. Include the email address on the account and any transaction or order IDs from your receipts. Full details up front prevent the kind of back-and-forth that can push you past your next billing date.

Make Sure the Cancellation Took

You should get a confirmation email. Save it. That email is your proof of the exact cancellation date if a billing dispute comes up. If nothing arrives within a day, follow up with the platform you canceled through.

You will normally keep premium access until the end of the period you already paid for. A mid-cycle cancellation does not usually trigger an immediate lockout.

Can You Get a Refund?

Refunds are hard to get once a billing cycle has been charged. Streaming subscriptions are commonly nonrefundable under their own terms, and FlickReels follows that pattern. If you paid through Google Play or Apple, request the refund through that platform rather than FlickReels — Google and Apple sometimes grant refunds case by case regardless of the developer’s policy.

Cancel before your next renewal date, not after. If you signed up for a free trial, set a reminder a day or two before it converts. Once it does, getting the money back gets much harder.

If Charges Keep Coming

Watch your statements during the cycle after you cancel. If a FlickReels charge still shows up, start with the platform you canceled through: open a support case with Google or Apple and attach your confirmation, or verify in PayPal that the automatic payment status reads inactive.

If the platform will not resolve it, dispute the charge with your card issuer. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, you have 60 days from the date the statement containing the error was sent to submit a written dispute.4Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 USC 1666 – Correction of Billing Errors The notice must include your name, account number, the disputed amount, and why you believe it is wrong. The card issuer then has to investigate before treating the amount as delinquent. The clock runs from when the statement was sent, not from when you spotted the charge, so do not sit on it.

When FlickReels Makes Canceling Hard

A Federal Trade Commission rule finalized in late 2024 requires subscription sellers to make cancellation at least as easy as sign-up.5Federal Trade Commission. Federal Trade Commission Announces Final Click-to-Cancel Rule If you enrolled online, the seller has to let you cancel online, and cannot force you into a phone call, a retention chat, or extra steps that were not part of signing up.6Legal Information Institute. 16 CFR Part 425 – Use of Negative Option Plans by Sellers in Commerce

Hiding the cancel button, demanding a support call after one-click enrollment, or charging a cancellation fee likely runs afoul of the rule. File a complaint at ftc.gov/complaint. It will not directly recover your money, but the FTC uses complaint volume to pick investigation targets, so it is worth the few minutes.
