To cancel a Replit subscription, sign in and cancel from your billing settings if you subscribed on the website; if you subscribed on an iPhone or Android device, cancel through the Apple App Store or Google Play instead. Whichever route applies, your paid features stay active until the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for, and fees already charged are not refunded.1Replit. Replit Commercial Agreement
First, Find Out Who Bills You
Where you originally signed up determines where you cancel. If you subscribed directly on replit.com, Replit handles the billing and you cancel in your account settings. If you subscribed through the Replit app on an iPhone, Apple handles the billing. If you subscribed through the app on Android, Google Play handles it. Canceling in the wrong place doesn’t stop the charges. A quick tell: if you open Replit’s billing page and no cancel button appears, your subscription is being managed by Apple or Google, not by Replit.
Cancel on the Replit Website
If you subscribed on replit.com:
- Sign in and click Settings in the bottom-left corner of the dashboard.
- Under the Account section, click the Billing tab.
- Under your active plan, click Cancel your subscription.
- Click Continue to Cancel when prompted. A short feedback form may appear; it’s optional.
Once confirmed, your plan is scheduled to expire at the end of the current billing period and won’t renew. You should get a confirmation email. If it doesn’t arrive within a few hours, open the billing page again and check that the plan status reads as expiring rather than renewing.
Cancel Through the Apple App Store
If you subscribed on an iPhone, canceling inside the Replit app or on Replit’s website won’t stop Apple from billing you. Cancel through iOS instead:
- Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions to see every active recurring charge tied to your Apple ID.
- Find Replit in the list and tap it.
- Tap Cancel Subscription. You may need to scroll to find it. A red expiration message means the subscription is already canceled.2Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple
Apple processes the cancellation right away but keeps your access active until the current billing period ends. Apple doesn’t issue partial refunds through this flow; a refund request would go through Apple’s Report a Problem page separately.
Cancel Through Google Play
If you subscribed on an Android device, Google Play controls the billing:
- Open Google Play and go to your subscriptions.
- Select the Replit subscription.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.3Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play
As with Apple, your access continues through the end of the current billing cycle. Any refund request goes through Google Play’s support, not Replit.
What Happens After You Cancel
You keep your paid features, including Replit AI tools, higher compute, and expanded storage, until the billing period runs out. Use that window to download or back up any project files you want to keep locally.
Once the paid period ends, your account drops to the free Starter tier. Starter limits you to publishing one project and provides free daily AI credits instead of the larger allowances on paid plans.4Replit. Pricing Your code and files stay in your account, but any deployed apps beyond the Starter limit will stop running, and projects that had been relying on paid-tier compute may slow down or time out.
Refunds
Replit’s commercial agreement states that amounts paid are non-refundable, whether you’re on a monthly or annual cycle.1Replit. Replit Commercial Agreement Cancel an annual plan three months in and you keep access for the remaining nine months, but no money comes back for the unused time. This is worth knowing before you take the annual discount.
Subscriptions billed through Apple or Google follow those platforms’ own refund processes, which operate independently of Replit. Both occasionally grant refunds for recent or accidental charges, but neither guarantees it.
