How to Cancel a Vecteezy Subscription: Fees, Refunds, and Files

To cancel a Vecteezy subscription, log in at Vecteezy.com, open Settings, go to Plan & Billing, click the three dots next to “Change Plan,” and choose cancel. If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, you have to cancel through them instead. And if you’re on an annual plan billed monthly, read the fee section below before you click, because ending early costs 50 percent of your remaining balance.

Canceling on the Vecteezy Website

This is the path for anyone who signed up directly at Vecteezy.com with a card or PayPal.

Click your circular profile picture in the top right, then click “Settings” in the dropdown.
In the left-hand menu, click “Plan & Billing.” Your current plan appears near the top.
Click the three small dots next to “Change Plan.” A pop-up opens with pause and cancel options.
Select cancel, then click through the retention screens (reminders about remaining downloads, discount offers) until you reach the final confirmation.

That last confirmation click is the one that counts. Close the browser or walk away before pressing it and your subscription stays active through the next renewal.¹

Canceling an App Store or Google Play Subscription

If you signed up through an in-app purchase, Apple or Google owns the billing. Canceling inside the Vecteezy site will not stop the charges.

Apple

On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, tap “Subscriptions,” find Vecteezy, and tap “Cancel Subscription.” You can also do this at apps.apple.com.²

Google Play

Open the Google Play app, go to your subscriptions, tap Vecteezy, then tap “Cancel subscription.” Note that deleting the Vecteezy app does not cancel the subscription; the billing continues until you cancel through Google Play itself.³

The Early Cancellation Fee to Watch For

Vecteezy sells annual contracts that bill monthly, and this is where cancellations get expensive. If you end that kind of plan before the 12 months are up, Vecteezy charges a fee equal to 50 percent of your remaining contract balance. Cancel six months into a one-year plan and you’ll owe half of what you would have paid over the remaining six months.⁴

Plans paid as one lump sum for the full year work differently. There’s no early termination fee, but Vecteezy generally won’t refund the unused portion either. You keep access until the paid period runs out.

Check your Plan & Billing page before you confirm. That single detail decides whether canceling costs you extra or simply ends access at the next renewal.

When You Can Get a Refund

Refund eligibility is narrow. Annual contracts billed monthly are generally non-refundable under the terms of use.⁴

EU residents have broader rights: a full refund within 14 days of payment, as long as no content was downloaded or licensed in that window.⁴

What Happens to the Files You Already Downloaded

Anything you downloaded while your subscription was active stays in your License History. You can re-download those files after cancellation, and the license to use them in completed projects remains valid.⁶

One limit matters here. The license does not permit stockpiling. You can’t bulk-download assets right before canceling and keep them on a hard drive for future projects. Content you downloaded but haven’t actually used in a project needs to be deleted from your devices.⁶

Confirm the Cancellation Actually Went Through

Two quick checks. First, look for a confirmation email from Vecteezy stating your subscription will not renew and listing the date access ends. Save it; if a charge appears later, that email is your proof. Second, return to Plan & Billing and verify the status now reads something like “Pending Cancellation” with an expiration date. You keep full Pro access until that date because you’ve already paid for the current cycle.⁷

If you paid through PayPal, log into PayPal separately and confirm the automatic payment agreement with Vecteezy is deactivated. A subscription can occasionally appear canceled on Vecteezy’s side while the PayPal billing agreement stays live.

If You Can’t Get the Cancellation to Go Through

Vecteezy’s contact form at vecteezy.com/contact lists “Cancel my plan” as a dedicated topic, and the support phone number is 1-888-473-8050.⁵

Under the FTC’s click-to-cancel rule, subscription sellers must make canceling at least as easy as signing up. A company that routes you through excessive hurdles may be violating federal rules.⁸
