To cancel a Webador subscription, submit the request from your account dashboard at least one full month before your next billing date. You can also cancel through Webador’s online cancellation form or by messaging the Webby support chatbot. The steps take only a few minutes, but the one-month notice period is strict, and missing it by even a day means paying for another cycle.1Webador. How Do I Cancel My Subscription
The One-Month Notice Period
Every paid Webador plan, Lite, Pro, and Business alike, carries a one-month notice period. Monthly plans auto-renew each month, and annual plans auto-extend for another full year, unless you cancel at least one month before the renewal date.2Webador. Webador Terms of Use
Webador’s own example shows how the timing catches people. If you bought a monthly plan on March 21 and submit your cancellation on April 1, the cancellation does not take effect until May 21. April 1 falls inside the one-month window before the April 21 renewal, so that renewal still runs and you pay for one more cycle.1Webador. How Do I Cancel My Subscription
Two practical points follow. First, submit as soon as you know you want out; there is no penalty for early cancellation because your paid features stay active until the effective date. Second, if you are on an annual plan, count backward from your renewal anniversary, not from the date you first signed up in any given year.
Cancelling From the Dashboard
Log in to Webador and open your subscription settings. The cancellation option lives inside that section, and clicking it opens a series of confirmation screens that ask why you are leaving and warn which features you will lose. Work through each screen until you see a confirmation message that the cancellation has been logged.
Then check your email for the automated confirmation and save it. If Webador bills you after your cancellation date, that email is your evidence. A screenshot of the dashboard showing the pending cancellation date is worth keeping too.
If You Can’t Reach the Dashboard
Locked out or unable to log in? Webador offers two backup routes. You can submit the cancellation through an online form on Webador’s website, or you can message Webby, the support chatbot that appears as a blue bubble in the bottom-right corner of the help center.1Webador. Neither route bypasses the one-month notice. Ask for written confirmation whichever way you cancel.
What You Lose When Cancellation Takes Effect
Once the cancellation is active, Webador may immediately remove features tied to your paid plan.2Webador. Webador Terms of Use The site drops to the free tier, which puts it back on a Webador-branded subdomain with Webador ads, and removes paid features such as a custom domain, advanced design tools, and online store functionality.
Before your paid access ends, pull off anything you want to keep. Online store orders and invoice data can be exported from the Editor. For general text and images there is no one-click export, so plan on copying content and downloading images manually.
Saving Your Custom Domain
This is the step people miss. A custom domain registered through Webador will not be renewed after your subscription ends, so you need to transfer it to another registrar before its own renewal date.3Webador. Domain Name Frequent Questions
Request an authorization code (also called a transfer code or EPP code) from Webador, hand that code to your new registrar, and let the new registrar drive the transfer. Start early. Transfers can take several days, and a domain that expires mid-transfer is harder and more expensive to recover than one moved on time.
Refunds and Disputed Charges
Domain registrations are non-refundable once registration begins, because the registrar charges Webador immediately. Business-to-business subscriptions are excluded from refunds entirely.2Webador. Webador Terms of Use
For individual consumer subscriptions, Webador’s published terms and help pages do not describe a money-back guarantee or a pro-rated refund for unused time on annual plans. If you believe you were billed after cancelling within the notice window, contact Webador through the Webby chatbot with your confirmation email attached. If support does not resolve the charge, you can dispute it with your bank or card issuer as an unauthorized recurring charge.
One pricing note worth keeping in mind when you check your statement: introductory promotional rates apply for the first three months on monthly plans and the first twelve months on annual plans, after which the standard renewal rate is higher.4Webador.
