To cancel Aceable roadside assistance, log into your Aceable account and use the self-serve cancellation option in your account settings, contact Aceable’s Customer Experience team by email or phone, or cancel through the App Store or Google Play if that’s where you originally subscribed. The service costs $7.99 per month or $59.99 per year and auto-renews until you actively stop it, so timing matters.1Aceable. Roadside Assistance Terms and Conditions
Cancel Through Your Aceable Account
This is the fastest route. Log in at aceable.com with the email and password you used at signup, go to your account settings, and find the active subscriptions area. Aceable’s terms confirm you can cancel “through the self-serve options in their course account,” and cancellation takes effect immediately once you confirm.1Aceable. If you’ve forgotten your password, reset it first so you’re not stuck mid-process.
Cancel by Contacting Aceable Support
If the self-serve option isn’t working, contact Aceable’s Customer Experience team directly.
- Email support@aceable.com with your name, the email address on your account, and a clear statement that you want to cancel roadside assistance.
- Call 855-223-7778. Support hours are Sunday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.2Aceable. Terms and Conditions
Save the confirmation email if you write in. If you call, write down the date, time, and the name of the person you spoke with. That record protects you if charges keep appearing later.
Cancel Through the App Store or Google Play
If you originally signed up through Apple’s App Store or Google Play, canceling inside your Aceable account may not stop the charges. Those subscriptions are managed by the platform, not by Aceable, so you have to cancel where you paid.
On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, find Aceable, and tap Cancel Subscription. If you’re on a free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends to avoid the charge.3Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple
On Android, open the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, go to Payments & subscriptions, tap Subscriptions, select Aceable, and tap Cancel subscription. Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription. Charges continue until you cancel through Google Play itself.4Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play
If You’re on the Free Trial
Aceable’s free trial lasts 30 days. Cancel within that window and you won’t be charged. Once the trial expires, your payment method is billed at the regular monthly or annual rate, and the subscription renews automatically after that.1Aceable. Roadside Assistance Terms and Conditions This is where most people get caught: they add the service during a driver’s ed checkout, forget about it, and see charges a month later. Set a calendar reminder a few days before the trial ends if you’re unsure.
Refund Rules
Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable. Once a monthly billing cycle charges, that payment is gone even if you cancel the same day.1Aceable. Roadside Assistance Terms and Conditions
Annual plans work differently. If you cancel mid-year, Aceable issues a pro-rated refund based on how much of the 12-month period you’ve used. To request one, email support@aceable.com with your account details and the cancellation date. The refund should reflect the time between your service start date and the cancellation date.2Aceable. If Charges Keep Coming After You Cancel
You have a few options beyond contacting Aceable again.
Place a stop payment order with your bank or credit union. Under federal law, you can stop a preauthorized electronic payment by notifying your financial institution at least three business days before the next scheduled charge.5Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. 12 CFR 1005.10 – Preauthorized Transfers Call your bank, explain that you canceled the service, and ask them to block future charges from that merchant. Whichever route you use, save the confirmation and check your next bank statement. If you canceled through an app store, verify the subscription shows as expired or canceled in your Apple or Google account settings rather than active.
