To cancel an Aiwit subscription, go to whichever platform is billing you (Apple’s App Store, Google Play, or Aiwit directly) and cancel there at least 24 hours before your next renewal date. Canceling in the wrong place will not stop the charges, so the first step is figuring out where the money is actually going.1Aiwit App. Subscription Service Agreement
First, Find Out Who’s Billing You
Aiwit subscriptions run through one of three channels. Check a past receipt in your email or a recent bank statement to see which one applies to you:
- Receipts from apple.com mean Apple is the biller.
- Receipts from google.com mean Google Play is the biller.
- A charge listed as “EKEN” on your bank statement means Aiwit billed you directly. EKEN is Aiwit’s parent company.1Aiwit App. Subscription Service Agreement
You will also need the login for that account: your Apple ID, your Google account, or your Aiwit app credentials.
Cancel on iPhone or iPad
If Apple bills you, cancel through your device settings. The Aiwit app itself cannot stop an Apple-managed subscription.
- Open Settings.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Aiwit.
- Tap Cancel Subscription. You may need to scroll down to see it.
If instead of a cancel button you see an expiration date in red text, the subscription is already canceled and will end on that date.2Apple. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple

If Google Play bills you, cancellation happens inside the Play Store.
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap your profile icon in the upper right.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Select Aiwit.
- Tap Cancel subscription and confirm.
You can also reach the same screen through Settings → Google → your name → Manage your Google Account → Payments & subscriptions.3Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play
If Aiwit Billed You Directly
Aiwit’s own service agreement points customers back to the Apple and Google Play cancellation paths above; the app does not appear to offer an independent cancel button.1Aiwit App. Subscription Service Agreement If your subscription is not listed in either app store, use the in-app customer service chat, which the company describes as its primary support channel.4Aiwit App. About Us
Cancel at Least 24 Hours Before Renewal
Aiwit’s service agreement requires cancellation at least 24 hours before the current billing period ends. Miss that window and the system sends the renewal charge to Apple or Google automatically, and Aiwit’s stated policy is that the charge will not be refunded.1Aiwit App. Subscription Service Agreement If your renewal date is July 15, cancel by July 13 to leave yourself a safety margin.
One trap to watch for: Aiwit cloud plans are not shared across cameras. Each device carries its own subscription, so canceling one camera’s plan leaves the others active.5Aiwit. Aiwit Cloud Storage Subscription If you have several devices, check each one.
What Happens to Your Camera After You Cancel
Canceling does not disable the camera. Paid features stay active through the end of the period you already paid for. Cancel two weeks into an annual plan and you keep cloud recording for the remaining months.1Aiwit App. Subscription Service Agreement After that, the camera falls back to basic functionality, and Aiwit confirms features like live view still work without a subscription.6Aiwit. What you lose is access to cloud-recorded footage. Download any clips you want to keep before the paid period expires. Once cloud access ends, that video history is gone.
If You Were Charged After Trying to Cancel
Refunds go through the platform that took your money, not through Aiwit.
- For Apple charges, sign in at reportaproblem.apple.com, choose “Request a refund,” pick a reason, and select the Aiwit charge. Apple typically responds within 48 hours.7Apple Support. Request a Refund for Apps or Content That You Bought From Apple
- For Google Play charges, you can request a refund directly through Google within 48 hours of the charge. After that, Google directs you to contact the app developer.8Google Play Help. Request a Refund on Google Play
Neither platform guarantees a refund, but accidental renewals where you tried to cancel first tend to be approved. Keep any screenshots of your cancellation attempt.
Stopping Charges That Keep Coming
If a charge still shows up after cancellation, first check whether you have another Aiwit camera on its own subscription. Canceling one device’s plan does not touch the others.
If the charge is genuinely unauthorized, federal consumer protections let you cut it off at the bank. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau recommends a two-step approach: tell the company in writing that you are revoking payment authorization, then notify your bank or credit union of the same. Any payment the company initiates after you have revoked authorization is treated as an error, and your bank must return the funds.9Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Your bank may also offer a stop payment order that blocks future charges from a specific company. These typically cost $20 to $35, so most people use them only after the written revocation has failed.
