To cancel an iGenius subscription, submit a written cancellation request through the support ticket system in your account dashboard on the iGenius website or mobile app, and do it several days before your next billing date so the request processes in time to stop the next charge.1iGenius. Distributor Agreement If you originally signed up through the Apple App Store or Google Play, you have to cancel through that store instead, because Apple or Google handles the billing. Monthly renewal fees range from $59.99 to $224.99 depending on your plan, so timing matters.
Submit a Cancellation Ticket
Log into your account on the iGenius website or mobile app, open the help or support section, and submit a ticket stating that you want to cancel your subscription and stop all future billing. Include your full name, the email address on the account, and your Member ID so support can find your profile.
Check your renewal date first. It appears in your account settings and on the receipt from your most recent charge. Submit the request several days ahead of that date. Take a screenshot of the ticket and any confirmation number the system gives you; that record is what you’ll rely on if a charge still goes through.
Email or Phone as a Backup
If the ticket system isn’t cooperating, you can reach support at support@igeniusglobal.com or call 1-801-939-3580.2iGenius. Contact Us In an email, use a subject line like “Subscription Cancellation Request” and include your Member ID, registered email, and full name. State plainly that you want to cancel and stop recurring charges.
Ask for written confirmation that your cancellation has been processed. An acknowledgment that your request was received is not the same thing. If you don’t hear back within a few business days, follow up and keep every message. Some members have reported slow response times. If you call, write down the date, the name of the person you spoke with, and what they said.
If You Subscribed Through an App Store
Subscriptions purchased through Apple or Google are billed by those platforms, and iGenius generally cannot cancel them on its end.
Apple
On an iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. Find iGenius, tap it, and tap Cancel Subscription. If the subscription doesn’t show up, search your email for “receipt from Apple” to see which Apple Account was used.3Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple
Google Play
Open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile icon, go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Tap iGenius, then Cancel subscription. Google recommends canceling at least 48 hours before your renewal date. Your access continues to the end of the current billing period.
Refunds Only Apply to Your First Payment
iGenius offers a limited refund window on the initial purchase: 10 days for most members, 14 days for EU residents. Monthly renewal charges after sign-up are generally non-refundable. Canceling stops future billing but does not by itself refund anything you’ve already paid.
If you’re inside the initial window, contact support right away and specifically request a refund, not just a cancellation. Refunds typically take three to five business days to reach your original payment method. Once a refund is granted, access to iGenius tools and content ends immediately. If you cancel after the refund window, you’ll usually keep access to your plan’s features through the end of the current paid cycle.
What a Missed Deadline Costs
iGenius plans carry a one-time enrollment fee plus a monthly renewal fee. The main tiers run from a $99.99 monthly renewal on the Choice plan up to $174.99 per month on Select, Premium, and Elite.4iGenius. Member Benefits A separate personal finance product line starts at $59.99 per month and reaches $224.99 per month at its Elite tier. Missing your cancellation deadline by a day on a higher tier means another $175 or $225 charge, which is why confirming the renewal date is the first thing to do.
If Charges Keep Coming After You Cancel
The FTC’s click-to-cancel rule requires businesses to make canceling at least as easy as signing up and prohibits ignoring a cancellation request while continuing to bill.5Federal Trade Commission. Federal Trade Commission Announces Final Click-to-Cancel Rule Making It Easier for Consumers to End Recurring Subscriptions If you believe the company is making it unreasonably hard to cancel, you can file a complaint at reportfraud.ftc.gov.
For charges that post after you’ve canceled, call your bank or card issuer and dispute the charge; most issuers allow chargebacks for unauthorized recurring charges. You can also place a stop-payment order with your bank at least three days before the next scheduled charge to block the debit. Your bank will want to see that you tried to cancel through the company first, so bring the confirmation, screenshots, and email threads.
What You Give Up When You Cancel
If you joined iGenius as a distributor, the Distributor Agreement states that canceling means permanently losing all distributor rights, including any sales organization you built and future commissions from it, with no right to reclaim them if you re-enroll later.1iGenius. Distributor Agreement
If you only used the educational tools and software, your access runs through the end of what you’ve already paid for, unless a refund was issued, in which case access ends right away. Download any notes, course materials, or personal data from your dashboard before the account is deactivated. There’s no guarantee of retrieving anything stored inside the platform afterward.
