How to Cancel an OAN Subscription: Roku, Apple, and Cable

To cancel your OAN subscription, you first need to know which company is actually charging you — OAN Live, KlowdTV, Roku, Apple, Google, Amazon, or a cable or satellite provider — and then cancel through that platform’s account settings. Canceling in the wrong place leaves the real subscription running, so the billing source is the starting point for every path below.

Find Out Who Is Billing You

Open your bank or credit card statement and read the charge description. It will say something like “OAN Live,” “KlowdTV,” “Roku,” “Apple.com/bill,” “Google,” or “Amazon.” That label is the platform you need to cancel through.

Before you start, make sure you have the login for that specific account. An OAN Live password won’t get you into Roku, and vice versa. Reset the password now if you’re unsure which email you used. Keep the last four digits of your payment card nearby in case you end up on the phone with support.

Cancel Through OAN Live or KlowdTV

A charge from OAN Live or KlowdTV means you subscribed directly through Herring Networks. For OAN Live:

  • Log in at live.oann.com and open your account profile page.
  • Click “Cancel Account.”
  • Enter your OAN Live email, check the confirmation box, and click “End Subscription.”
  • Check that the profile page no longer shows “Active.”

The account will not renew on your next renewal date and will switch to canceled status once that date passes.1OAN Live. How to Cancel Your Subscription KlowdTV uses a similar flow: log in, open your account profile, and cancel from there.2KlowdTV. KlowdTV Subscriptions

Cancel Through Roku

If Roku is the biller, cancel inside the Roku interface, not the OAN app. From the Roku home screen, highlight the OAN app with the arrow buttons, press the Star button on your remote, select “Manage subscription,” then select “Turn off auto-renew.” Your subscription stays active through the end of the current billing cycle.3Roku Support. If “Manage subscription” doesn’t appear when you press Star, Roku isn’t the one billing you, and you’ll need to check another platform.4Roku Support. Manage or Cancel Subscriptions on Roku

Cancel Through Apple

A charge from Apple means the subscription came through the App Store. On an iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, tap “Subscriptions,” find OAN, tap it, and tap “Cancel Subscription.” Scroll down if you don’t see the button. A red expiration message means it’s already canceled.5Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple

You can do the same from a Mac or at appleid.apple.com. Access runs until the current billing period ends.

Cancel Through Google Play

For Android, open Settings, tap “Google,” then your name, then “Manage your Google Account.” Tap “Payments & subscriptions,” then “Manage subscriptions,” find OAN, and follow the prompts to cancel.6Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play

You can also do this from the Play Store app: tap your profile icon, then “Payments & subscriptions,” then “Subscriptions.” Uninstalling the OAN app does not cancel the subscription. Google keeps billing until you cancel through account settings.

Cancel Through Amazon

If Amazon is the biller — through a Fire TV device or Amazon.com — go to “Your Memberships and Subscriptions” on Amazon.com, find OAN, select “Manage Subscription,” then “Cancel Subscription” under Advanced Controls.7Amazon. Manage Your Amazon Subscriptions

If you added OAN as a Prime Video channel, go to “Manage Your Subscriptions,” select “Your subscriptions” from the top menu, find the add-on, and select “Unsubscribe.”8Amazon. Cancel Your Prime Video Add-On Subscription Confirm the cancellation and watch for the confirmation email.

Cancel Through a Cable or Satellite Provider

OAN’s cable and satellite footprint has shrunk; DirecTV dropped the network, and most major providers no longer carry it. If you still get OAN through a provider such as Verizon Fios, contact that provider to drop the channel or change your TV package.

Log into the provider’s account portal and look for options to change your channel lineup. If the website doesn’t offer a clear way to remove individual channels, call customer service. Ask to have OAN removed or move to a package that doesn’t include it, and confirm the change on your next bill.

What Happens After You Cancel

Cancellation almost never cuts off access immediately. You keep watching through the end of the period you already paid for. OAN Live states that the account “will now not renew on your renewal date and go to canceled after your renewal date.”1OAN Live. How to Cancel Your Subscription Roku, Apple, Google, and Amazon work the same way.

After you cancel, confirm the account shows “Canceled” or no longer lists an active renewal date. Save the confirmation email or a screenshot. You’ll want that record if a charge appears later.

If You’re Still Being Charged

Charges after cancellation happen more often than they should. Log back in and verify the status actually changed; a missed confirmation step sometimes leaves the subscription active.

If the account shows canceled but money keeps coming out, contact the billing platform’s support (Roku, Apple, Google, Amazon, or OAN Live, depending on who’s charging you). Point to your confirmation email or screenshot and ask for a refund of any post-cancellation charges.

If that doesn’t resolve it, dispute the charge with your bank or credit card issuer. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, you have the right to contest unauthorized or incorrect charges on your credit card. Call the number on the back of the card, explain that you canceled but are still being billed, and ask to start a chargeback. The cancellation confirmation you saved makes that call much shorter.
