How to Cancel an OnlyFans Subscription and Get Refunds

To cancel an OnlyFans subscription, open your Subscriptions list, find the creator, and toggle off auto-renew. The status flips from a “Renews” date to an “Expires” date, and no further charges go through. You keep access to that creator’s content until the cycle you already paid for runs out. The one catch: if you originally subscribed through the iOS or Android app, Apple or Google is billing you, and you have to cancel through them instead.

Turn Off Auto-Renew on OnlyFans

Every paid OnlyFans subscription renews each month unless you switch it off. The steps are the same on desktop and mobile:

  • Click or tap your profile icon and select “Subscriptions.”
  • Under “Active,” find the creator you want to cancel.
  • Switch off the auto-renew toggle next to their name. It’s usually green when active.
  • A pop-up asks why you’re canceling. Pick a reason or skip, then confirm.

You’ll know it worked when the “Renews” date changes to an “Expires” date on that subscription. On mobile the toggle sometimes needs a second tap to register, so wait for the expiration date to appear before closing the screen.

If You Subscribed Through Apple or Google Play

This is where most people get tripped up. When you sign up inside the iOS or Android app, the payment runs through Apple or Google rather than OnlyFans directly. Toggling auto-renew off on the OnlyFans website will not stop that charge. Cancel through whichever platform is actually billing you.

On iPhone or Mac

On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then tap “Subscriptions.” Find OnlyFans, tap it, and tap “Cancel Subscription.” If there’s no cancel button and you see a red expiration message, the subscription is already canceled.1Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple

On a Mac, open the App Store, click your name in the bottom-left corner, and click “Account Settings.” Scroll to Subscriptions, click “Manage,” find OnlyFans, and click “Cancel Subscription.”2Apple Support. Cancel, Change, or Share Subscriptions in the App Store on Mac

On Android

Open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile icon, then tap “Payments & subscriptions” and “Subscriptions.” Select OnlyFans, tap “Cancel subscription,” and follow the prompts. The service stays active through the end of the current billing period.3Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play

What Happens to Your Access After You Cancel

Canceling does not lock you out immediately. The payment you already made covers a full billing cycle, and you keep the creator’s content until that cycle ends. Check the subscription details page for the exact expiration date. Once it passes, the content locks and no new charge posts to your card.

Free Trials and Promotional Rates

Free trials on OnlyFans do not auto-renew. When a trial expires, you have to manually subscribe and pay to keep access. A payment card must be on file to start the trial, but the platform won’t charge it automatically at the end.

Discounted first-month promotions are different. Those are paid subscriptions, and they follow the standard auto-renew pattern. If you don’t toggle auto-renew off, the next charge hits at the creator’s full price.

Refunds Are Rarely Available

OnlyFans maintains a strict no-refund policy once you’ve accessed a creator’s content. The terms of service warn against “unjustified requests for a refund” and state that bad-faith refund or chargeback requests can result in account suspension or deletion.4OnlyFans. Terms of Service

Refunds may still be possible for unauthorized charges, duplicate billing, or platform errors. Submit a support ticket through onlyfans.com/help or email support@onlyfans.com with the charge date, dollar amount, and any transaction IDs or screenshots. If the automated help articles don’t resolve it, use the “Still need help?” link at the bottom of the help page to route the ticket to a person. Responses typically take three to seven business days. There is no phone support and no live chat.

Chargebacks Can Get Your Account Banned

Your bank can process a chargeback regardless of what any platform’s terms say. That’s a cardholder right. But for content you actually accessed, OnlyFans treats a chargeback as a violation and will almost certainly ban the account permanently. Banks also investigate disputes, and if OnlyFans shows evidence you logged in and viewed the content, the chargeback can be reversed. That leaves you banned and out the money.

Chargebacks are the right tool for genuinely unauthorized charges, not for buyer’s remorse.

Stopping Payments Through Your Bank

If you’ve canceled but charges keep appearing, or you can’t get into your account, federal law gives you a separate path. Under the Electronic Fund Transfer Act, you can stop a preauthorized recurring payment by notifying your bank at least three business days before the next scheduled transfer.5Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 USC 1693e – Preauthorized Transfers

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau recommends two steps: tell the company you’re revoking authorization, then give your bank or credit union the same instruction. After both are notified, further payments the company initiates are treated as errors, and your bank should refund them.6Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Your bank may also suggest a formal stop payment order, which works but often carries a fee. Stopping the payment doesn’t cancel the subscription agreement itself, so cancel on OnlyFans or through Apple/Google Play first and use the bank as backup.

Deleting Your Account Instead

If you want to cancel every active subscription and remove your profile in one move, deleting your account handles both. Go to Settings, open the Account section, select “Delete Account,” enter your password, and confirm. Deletion is permanent. It wipes your content, messages, and subscription history, though OnlyFans keeps tax-related records for seven or more years for financial compliance. If you only want a break, deactivation is reversible within 60 days by logging back in.

One caveat: if Apple or Google is billing you, deleting your OnlyFans account may not stop those charges. Cancel through the billing platform first, then delete.
