Cancel on the Caktus AI Website
Log in with the email and password you used to sign up. Open the profile icon or settings gear on the dashboard and look for “Manage Plan” or “Billing.” That screen shows your tier and your next charge date. Choose “Cancel Subscription” and work through the confirmation prompts.
You’ll likely see a short exit survey or a discount offer before the cancellation finishes. Skip past those and keep going until you reach a final confirmation screen or receive a confirmation email. Without that confirmation, the cancellation may not have gone through, and you’ll be billed again on the next renewal date.
Cancel Through the Stripe Billing Portal
Many Caktus AI subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Check your bank or credit card statement for a charge labeled “Stripe” or “Caktus AI via Stripe.” When a business uses Stripe, it can offer customers a hosted portal to manage payment methods, view invoices, and cancel directly.2Stripe. Open any billing email from Caktus AI and look for a “Manage Subscription” link, or check your website account settings for a link that redirects to a Stripe-hosted page. Inside the portal, your active subscription appears with a cancel option. Stripe may ask for a reason and show a retention coupon before it processes the request.3Stripe. Cancel on Apple or Google Play
If you subscribed through an app store, canceling on the Caktus AI site or app will not stop your charges. Apple and Google bill separately and cancellation happens inside their systems.
iPhone or iPad
Open Settings, tap your name, then tap “Subscriptions.” Find Caktus AI, tap it, and tap “Cancel Subscription.” If there is no cancel button and you see a red expiration message instead, the subscription is already canceled.4Apple Support. Android
Open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile icon, and go to “Payments & subscriptions,” then “Subscriptions.” Find Caktus AI, tap it, and cancel. Apple and Google each apply their own refund policies to purchases made through their stores, and those policies may be more generous than Caktus AI’s. For a refund on a charge through either store, contact Apple or Google support, not Caktus AI.
If You Can’t Cancel Yourself
When the self-service options fail or you can’t get into your account, email support@caktus.ai.1Caktus AI. That email creates a timestamped record you can use later if you need to dispute a charge.
Save any reply you get. If a few business days pass with no response and your renewal date is close, you can ask your bank or card issuer to block the recurring charge as a backup.
What Happens After Cancellation
Canceling stops future charges but does not cut off access right away. You keep the paid features through the end of the billing period you already paid for. Your account and saved documents stay on the platform. Caktus AI does not automatically delete your profile or data when the subscription ends. To have your personal data removed, send a separate request to support@caktus.ai stating that you want full account and data deletion, not just subscription cancellation.1Caktus AI. Refunds and Disputed Charges
Caktus AI does not offer refunds. The terms of service state that because the service consists of “non-tangible, irrevocable goods,” no refunds are issued after purchase.1Caktus AI. Legal – Terms of Service and Privacy Policy That’s why the timing of your cancellation matters. Waiting until the day after a renewal charge means paying for another full month you cannot recover from the company.
If you were charged after canceling, or billed without ever signing up, that’s a different situation. Pull your cancellation confirmation email and contact your bank or card issuer to open a chargeback or dispute. A documented cancellation request with a clear timestamp gives you strong footing.
Your Rights Under Federal Law
Two federal laws sit behind your ability to cancel a recurring online charge. The Restore Online Shoppers’ Confidence Act requires businesses that charge consumers through recurring online subscriptions to clearly disclose all material terms before taking billing information, obtain informed consent before charging, and provide simple mechanisms to stop the charges.6Congress.gov. If your payments are drafted straight from a bank account rather than a credit card, the Electronic Fund Transfer Act requires the company to obtain your written or electronically signed authorization for the recurring transfers and give you a copy of the terms.7Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. 12 CFR 1005.10 – Preauthorized Transfers You can also stop preauthorized bank transfers by notifying your bank at least three business days before the next scheduled payment.
