To cancel a Cartoonify subscription, go back to wherever you signed up: the Cartoonify website (billed through Stripe), the Apple App Store, or Google Play. Only the platform that took your original payment can stop the recurring charge, so knowing how to cancel your Cartoonify subscription starts with identifying which of those three billed you. Deleting the app does nothing to your billing.
If You Signed Up on the Cartoonify Website
Website subscriptions run through Stripe. Cartoonify’s developer, Imagineers Studio, links directly to the billing portal at billing.stripe.com/p/login/6oE9ABgNw4B25xK3cc.1Imagineers Studio. A frequent snag: the email tied to your Cartoonify account isn’t always the one you use for other services. If the portal won’t recognize you after a couple of attempts, email support@imagineers.studio and ask them to locate the account.1Imagineers Studio. Cartoonify – Support
If You Subscribed on an iPhone or iPad
Apple handles the billing when you subscribe through the App Store, and canceling inside the Cartoonify app has no effect. Go into your device settings:
- Open Settings and tap your name at the top to reach your Apple ID.
- Tap Subscriptions to see every active recurring charge on your Apple account.
- Select Cartoonify, then tap Cancel Subscription.
If there’s no Cancel button and you see an expiration date in red instead, the subscription has already been canceled.3Apple Support. If You Subscribed on Android
Android users cancel through Google Play. Uninstalling the app leaves the subscription active, and charges continue until you cancel here.5Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play
- Open Google Play and go to your subscriptions (through the profile icon, then Payments and subscriptions).
- Select Cartoonify from your active subscriptions.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.

What Canceling Does and Doesn’t Do
Whichever route you took, you’ll usually keep premium access through the end of the period you’ve already paid for.2Imagineers App. Refund and Cancelation Policy After that, the account drops to the free tier or loses access to paid tools.
Save the confirmation. Most platforms email one within minutes, and your account settings should now show an expiration date instead of a renewal date. If a charge shows up later, that confirmation is your evidence.
One boundary worth knowing: canceling the subscription does not delete your account. Uploaded photos and saved avatars stay on Cartoonify’s servers. If you want the data removed, you need to request account deletion separately.
Refunds
Imagineers Studio’s refund policy is narrow. No refunds for unused time in a cycle, nothing older than 14 days, and annual plans aren’t refundable at all.2Imagineers App. Refund and Cancelation Policy
If Apple billed you, request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. Sign in, choose “Request a refund,” pick a reason, and select the Cartoonify charge. When You Can’t Find the Cancel Button
The usual reason is that you’re signed in to the wrong account. Many people have more than one email tied to different app stores, and the subscription simply won’t appear on the wrong one. Other things to check:
- The subscription may already be canceled. Look for an expiration date instead of a renewal date.
- You may be on the wrong platform. If you’re on the website but subscribed through Apple or Google, only that store can cancel it.
- The Stripe portal may be glitching. Clear your browser cache or try a different browser.
If nothing works, email support@imagineers.studio with your subscription email and a screenshot of the charge from your bank statement.1Imagineers Studio. Cartoonify – Support
Stopping Charges Through Your Bank or Card
If you’ve canceled and the charges keep coming, you don’t have to wait on support. Call your bank or credit union and revoke authorization for the company to pull automatic payments. Your bank can place a stop payment order on future charges from that merchant, usually for a fee somewhere between $0 and $25.8Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
