To cancel a CheaterScanner subscription, log in at cheaterscanner.com and cancel from the Billing or Subscription Management section, or email support@cheaterscanner.com with your account details. Cancelling stops future charges but does not delete your personal data from the platform, which is a separate request.
Cancel Through Your Online Account
The fastest route is doing it yourself on the site:
- Log in to your account at cheaterscanner.com.
- Open the Billing or Subscription Management section.
- Click “Cancel Subscription.”
- Follow the on-screen prompts until you reach the final confirmation.
Expect retention offers and discount prompts before the system actually processes the request. Decline each one until you see the final confirmation screen. Screenshot that screen before you navigate away; it’s your proof the cancellation went through. You keep access until the current billing period ends, and no further charges are made.1CheaterScanner. Cancel by Email or Phone
If you can’t log in or the cancellation flow isn’t working, contact support directly:
- Email: support@cheaterscanner.com
- Phone: +1 (800) 452-0804, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST
In your email, include your name, the email address tied to the account, and your order number, and state clearly that you want to cancel. CheaterScanner says it will process email cancellation requests within 48 hours.1CheaterScanner. Refunds and Cancellations – CheaterScanner AI Save copies of what you send and what comes back. If a charge shows up later and you have to dispute it, that paper trail is what makes the dispute fast instead of slow.
Refund Eligibility
CheaterScanner offers a 30-day money-back guarantee, but the conditions are narrower than the phrase suggests. A full refund is available only if the service completely failed to find any matching profiles, the core functionality did not work as described, or a technical issue prevented the service from operating and support could not fix it.1CheaterScanner. Refunds and Cancellations – CheaterScanner AI
The guarantee does not cover results you didn’t like, partial or close matches, or a change of mind after a successful scan. The 30-day window runs from your original purchase date, not from when you decide to cancel. To request a refund, email support@cheaterscanner.com with your order number, the email address you signed up with, your purchase date, and a brief explanation of how the service failed one of the guarantee conditions. Support typically responds within 48 hours.1CheaterScanner. Refunds and Cancellations – CheaterScanner AI
Remove Your Personal Data
Cancelling stops the billing. It does not erase your personal information from CheaterScanner’s database. If you want your data removed, send a separate request to support@cheaterscanner.com asking for deletion. CheaterScanner states that all data will be completely removed from its systems in line with its data deletion policy.2CheaterScanner. FAQ – CheaterScanner AI
Verify the removal after a few days by searching for your profile on the site. If it’s still there, reply on the original email thread and reference your first request.
Stop Charges Through Your Bank
If CheaterScanner keeps billing after you’ve cancelled, your bank or card issuer is your backup.
Debit Card or Bank Account Payments
Federal law gives you the right to stop any preauthorized recurring transfer from your bank account. Contact your bank at least three business days before the next scheduled charge and tell them you are revoking authorization for future payments to CheaterScanner. This can be done by phone or in writing. If you call, the bank can require written confirmation within 14 days, so follow up with a letter or secure message.3Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 USC 1693e – Preauthorized Transfers
Credit Card Payments
For credit cards, the Fair Credit Billing Act lets you dispute charges that should have stopped after cancellation. Send a written dispute to your card issuer within 60 days of the statement showing the charge.4Federal Trade Commission. Using Credit Cards and Disputing Charges Most issuers also accept disputes online or by phone, but a written letter to the billing dispute address on your statement creates the strongest record. Include your account number, the date and amount of the charge, and a copy of your cancellation confirmation.
If the Company Keeps Charging You
When CheaterScanner ignores requests or keeps billing after a confirmed cancellation, escalate outside the company. The FTC accepts reports of businesses that refuse to stop recurring charges at ReportFraud.ftc.gov, and you can also file a complaint with your state attorney general’s office.5Federal Trade Commission. How to Stop Subscriptions You Never Ordered
The FTC’s Click-to-Cancel rule requires sellers to make cancellation as easy as signing up and to stop charges immediately once a consumer cancels. Sellers who bury the cancellation process or keep charging after a clear request are violating federal rules.6Federal Trade Commission.
