To cancel a Crew Carwash Unlimited Wash Club subscription, submit a cancellation request through the online Customer Portal at crewcarwash.com/manage at least 24 hours before your next billing date, or call the Unlimited Club line at 1-866-632-5627. The membership bills automatically every month and stays active until you actively cancel it.
What to Have Ready
You need your Unlimited Club tag number before you start. It’s printed under the barcode on the sticker on your windshield.1Crew Carwash. Unlimited Club FAQs If the sticker is damaged or unreadable, you can retrieve the number by logging into the Customer Portal or by asking an employee at any Crew Carwash location to scan your vehicle. Members who signed up at the Champaign, Illinois location use their license plate number instead.
Have the email address or phone number you used at signup, since the portal uses that to verify your identity. If you’re calling in, keep the last four digits of the card on file nearby too.
Cancel Online Through the Customer Portal
The official method is the online Customer Portal. Crew Carwash’s terms and conditions state that your membership remains in effect until you submit a cancellation request at crewcarwash.com/manage.2Crew Carwash. Unlimited Club Terms and Conditions
- Go to crewcarwash.com/manage, which redirects to the Customer Portal.
- Enter your tag number (or license plate number for Champaign) and the contact information you used at signup.
- Follow the prompts to submit the cancellation request.
Save the confirmation email once it arrives. That digital record matters if a billing dispute comes up later.
Cancel by Phone
If the portal gives you trouble or you’d rather talk to someone, call the Unlimited Club customer service line.
- Phone: 1-866-632-5627
- Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST; Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. EST
Have your tag number and payment details ready. Ask the representative to confirm the exact date your membership will end, and request an email confirmation. Write down the name of the person you spoke with and the date and time of the call. That paper trail protects you if a charge shows up after you were told the subscription was canceled.
The 24-Hour Deadline
Crew Carwash requires cancellation requests at least 24 hours before your monthly billing date.1Crew Carwash. Unlimited Club FAQs Miss that window and you’ll be charged for another month. The billing date is typically the same day each month, matching the date you originally signed up. If you don’t remember it, check your bank or card statements for the pattern.
Submit the request a few days early rather than cutting it close. “24 hours before” means 24 hours before the charge actually processes, not before midnight on the billing date. Give yourself a buffer.
No Refunds and No Pause
Crew Carwash does not issue refunds for mid-month cancellations or for months when you didn’t use any washes.2Crew Carwash. Unlimited Club Terms and Conditions Cancel on day five of your billing cycle and you lose the remaining 25 days you already paid for. There’s no pause or suspension option either. You either keep paying or you cancel.
Because of that, the best time to cancel is right after your billing date. You keep the full month of washes you already paid for, and the membership ends before the next charge. After you submit the request, the plan stays active until the next billing date, so you can keep using the wash during that remaining window.1Crew Carwash. Unlimited Club FAQs
After You Cancel
You should get a confirmation email once the request is processed. If nothing arrives within a couple of business days, call 1-866-632-5627 and follow up. No confirmation email means no proof the cancellation went through, and you don’t want to find out it didn’t work when the next charge hits.
Watch your bank or card statements for at least one full billing cycle after the cancellation date. If an unexpected charge appears, contact Crew Carwash first. Billing errors at the company level usually resolve faster than disputes filed through your bank.
If Charges Keep Coming
If you’ve confirmed the cancellation and charges keep appearing, call customer service again and reference the original confirmation. If that doesn’t resolve it, dispute the specific unauthorized charges with your bank or card issuer.
You also have the legal right to stop a company from pulling automatic payments from your account, even if you previously authorized them. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau explains that you can instruct your bank to block future charges from a specific merchant.3Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. How Do I Stop Automatic Payments From My Bank Account Blocking payments at the bank doesn’t cancel your contract with Crew Carwash, though. Cancel with the company first, then use the bank block as a safety net.
Under the FTC’s click-to-cancel rule, subscription sellers must make cancellation as easy as signup and must provide a simple mechanism to cancel and immediately stop charges.4Federal Trade Commission.
