How to Cancel Curology: Deadline, Refunds, and Email Steps

To cancel Curology, log into your account, open the dropdown menu, go to your payment page, and click the “I want to cancel” button at the bottom. You then click through a short series of prompts until you reach a final confirmation screen. Do this at least two full business days before your next scheduled order, or you’ll be charged for that shipment and it can’t be reversed.1Curology. Cancelling

Cancel on the Website

The website is the fastest route. After you click “I want to cancel” on the payment page, Curology walks you through prompts asking why you’re leaving. You have to click through each one to reach the final confirmation.1Curology. Cancelling

Watch for one screen in particular. Somewhere in the flow, Curology offers to pause your subscription instead of canceling. If you want to stop paying entirely, decline the pause and keep going.

When you reach the final screen and confirm, recurring billing stops. Check your email for a cancellation confirmation. If one doesn’t arrive, your subscription has not been canceled, and you’ll need to contact support to verify.1Curology. Cancelling

The Two-Business-Day Deadline

Timing is what actually determines whether you get charged again. Curology requires cancellation at least two full business days before your next scheduled order. Miss that window and the upcoming shipment bills, with no reversal.1Curology. Cancelling

Your next order date is listed on your account overview page. It’s the date the order moves into Curology’s fulfillment system, not the delivery date. Once an order enters that queue, it’s considered purchased and can’t be stopped.2Curology. Return Policy

Weekends don’t count toward business days, so a cancellation attempted late on a Friday for a Monday or Tuesday order will usually be too late. Give yourself a buffer.

Cancel by Email

If you can’t get into the website or you’d rather hand it off, email Curology’s support team and ask them to cancel for you.1Curology. Cancelling Include the email address on your account and a clear statement that you want the subscription canceled, so the agent can find your account and process the request without a back-and-forth.

Email takes longer because a person has to handle it, so send yours well ahead of the two-business-day cutoff. Keep the message you sent and any reply you receive.

One trap worth naming: texting Curology’s SMS line will not cancel your subscription. Replying “Stop” only unsubscribes you from text alerts. Billing continues as normal.1Curology. Cancelling

Pause Is Not Cancel

The pause offer in the cancellation flow pushes your next order to a later date, but the subscription stays active. You pick a specific future date, and when it arrives, billing resumes automatically.3Curology. Postponing Shipments

There is no indefinite pause. If you’re genuinely done, skip past this screen. A paused account that you forget about becomes a surprise charge later.

Refunds for New Members

If you’re within your first 90 days as a new member, you may qualify for a refund under Curology’s satisfaction guarantee. The guarantee covers your trial and first full-sized shipment, with conditions:4Curology. Refund Policy

  • Contact Curology within 90 days of your trial order date.
  • Complete two check-ins with photos sent to your provider: one after the trial order and one after the first full-sized shipment.
  • The guarantee is one-time only, for new members, and can’t be applied to later orders or a second subscription.
  • Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.

Outside that guarantee, all purchases are final sale, and Curology does not accept returns or exchanges on subscription products.4Curology. Refund Policy

What Happens After You Cancel

Your account goes inactive and no new shipments will generate. Any order already sent to fulfillment before you canceled will still ship, and you’ll still be charged for it.1Curology. Cancelling

You also lose access to your dermatology provider right away. No more messaging for advice or prescription adjustments. If you have an open conversation with your provider, finish it before you cancel.

If you’ve added non-prescription products like a cleanser or moisturizer to your plan, check your account after canceling to make sure nothing is still scheduled. Curology’s cancellation page doesn’t spell out whether add-ons stop automatically with the main subscription.5Curology. Pricing and Products

Deleting Your Data Is Separate

Canceling stops the billing, but Curology still holds your personal information and medical records. Removing it is a separate step. Curology’s Personal Information Request page lets you start a deletion request for the non-medical information in your profile, and the same page links to a different process for requesting your medical records.6Curology. Personal Information Request

Because Curology operates as a telehealth provider, certain health records may be retained to comply with medical record-keeping requirements, regardless of a deletion request.

If You Were Charged After Canceling

Start with Curology’s support team. Send them your cancellation confirmation email and ask for a refund. Most post-cancellation charges happen because the request didn’t fully process or landed inside the two-business-day window.

If support won’t resolve it, file a chargeback with your credit card company. Card networks generally allow disputes within 120 days of the transaction. Save your cancellation confirmation email, any correspondence with support, and screenshots of your account showing the deactivated status. Your card issuer will want proof the cancellation happened before the charge.
