Cancel From Your Account Dashboard
Log in with the email and password you signed up with. Open the menu, go to account settings, and click cancel. The site will ask you to confirm before processing the request, and you should see either a confirmation screen or an email before you close the browser. Save whatever confirmation you get. A screenshot is enough.
Before you cancel, note which tier you’re on so you can match it against your bank statement later and verify the right charge has stopped.3Forged 4×4. FORGED VIP Membership Details
Cancel by Email or Phone
If the dashboard won’t cooperate, or you just want a paper trail, email support@forged4x4.com. Keep it short. Include your full name, the email address on your account, and a clear sentence that you want the membership canceled immediately. Don’t bury the request in feedback. The subject line should make your intent obvious on its own.
You can also call 888-301-7909. A representative may offer you a discount or ask why you’re leaving. You don’t owe an explanation. Restate that you want the membership canceled and ask for a confirmation number or an emailed confirmation. If you cancel by phone, follow up with an email so you have the request in writing.
If You Can’t Log In
Locked-out accounts are the most common reason people get stuck. Check your spam folder for the password reset email first. If it still doesn’t arrive, support can verify the email on file and resend the link.4Forged4x4 Help Center. First Time Login Help and Forgot Password
If you no longer have access to the email address you signed up with, write to support@forged4x4.com from any address you do have. Give them enough to identify your account: your name, the last four digits of the card being charged, and the approximate signup date. A bank statement showing the charges or your original confirmation email helps.
What You Keep and What You Lose
Canceling does not wipe out sweepstakes entries you’ve already earned. Those stay in the active drawings. You just won’t accumulate new entries after cancellation takes effect.5Forged4x4 Help Center. Cancelling Your Membership
The refund policy doesn’t say whether unused portions of a billing period are prorated. It only says to contact customer support if you believe you’re owed a refund.1Forged 4×4. Membership and Refund Policy In practice, cancel well before your next billing date rather than counting on a partial refund.
One detail worth knowing if the giveaways were your whole reason for paying: Forged 4×4’s sweepstakes include a free mail-in entry method, so a paid membership isn’t required to enter.6Forged 4×4. Official Rules
Confirm the Charges Actually Stopped
Save your confirmation number, email, or screenshot. Then watch your bank or credit card statement for the next two billing cycles. A charge that was already queued before your cancellation processed can still post, and that alone doesn’t mean something went wrong. The documentation is what lets you sort it out quickly if it does.
If a charge posts after your confirmed cancellation date, contact Forged 4×4 first with your confirmation details. Most companies reverse a post-cancellation charge without a fight when you have proof.
If the Charges Keep Coming
When a company won’t stop billing after a confirmed cancellation, your bank is your next stop. If you pay by debit card or ACH, federal law gives you the right to stop preauthorized transfers. Notify your bank in writing or by phone at least three business days before the next scheduled charge.7Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 US Code 1693e – Preauthorized Transfers The bank may ask you to follow an oral request with written confirmation within 14 days. Stop payment fees typically run between $0 and $35.
If you pay by credit card, you can dispute a billing error in writing within 60 days of the statement date showing the charge. Your dispute needs your name, account number, the charge you’re contesting, and why you believe it’s an error.8Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 US Code 1666 – Correction of Billing Errors The issuer has 30 days to acknowledge the dispute and two billing cycles to investigate, and it cannot try to collect the disputed amount or report it as delinquent while the investigation is open. That 60-day window catches most post-cancellation charges, which is why credit cards are generally the safer way to pay for any subscription.
Two federal laws sit behind these protections. The Restore Online Shoppers’ Confidence Act requires any business selling through a negative option feature online to clearly disclose all material terms before collecting your payment information and to get your express informed consent before charging you.9Congress.gov. Public Law 111-345 – Restore Online Shoppers Confidence Act The Electronic Fund Transfer Act covers charges that hit your bank account directly, and allows statutory damages between $100 and $1,000 in an individual action for an unauthorized transfer, plus actual damages and attorney’s fees.10Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 US Code 1693m – Civil Liability You won’t need to invoke either one for a routine cancellation, but they are the backstop if a company refuses to stop charging you.
