How to Cancel Fubo on iPhone, Android, or Roku

To cancel Fubo, go to whichever service actually bills you each month: Apple, Google Play, Roku, or Fubo’s own website if you signed up directly. The cancellation only works on that platform. Canceling in the wrong place is the single most common reason people keep getting charged after they thought they were done.

Check Who’s Actually Billing You

Before you do anything else, open the Fubo app, tap the settings icon, and look at your account details. If the screen says your subscription is managed by Apple, Google, or Roku, that company controls your billing and Fubo can’t cancel it for you. You have to go to that platform.

Direct subscribers see an active credit card or PayPal method with no mention of an outside platform. Your bank statement is another clue: direct billing usually shows up as “FuboTV,” while Apple-billed subscriptions appear as “apple.com/bill.”1Apple Support. Deleting the App Does Not Cancel Anything

Uninstalling Fubo from your phone or tablet does nothing to your subscription. The billing lives with Apple, Google, Roku, or Fubo’s own system, not with the app on your device. As long as the subscription is active on the platform that owns it, the monthly charge keeps hitting.2Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play You have to go through the actual cancellation steps.

Cancel Through Apple (iPhone or iPad)

If you subscribed on an iOS device, the cancellation happens in your device’s system settings, not inside Fubo:

  • Open Settings and tap your name at the top to reach your Apple ID page.
  • Tap Subscriptions.
  • Tap Fubo in the list.
  • Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm. Apple may ask for Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode.

The renewal date changes to an expiration date, and no further charges go through. You keep watching until that date passes.

Cancel Through Google Play (Android)

Android users who signed up through Google Play cancel there, not inside Fubo:2Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play

  • Open the Google Play Store app.
  • Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  • Tap Fubo.
  • Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.

Google will ask why you’re leaving. Pick any reason or skip it. After you confirm, the Play Store shows when your access ends.

Still Getting Charged After Canceling

The usual explanation is that the cancellation went to the wrong place. You canceled on Fubo’s website when Apple was really billing you, or the other way around. Sign back into every platform where you have an account and check each one.

Timing is the other common cause. If you canceled the same day a charge was scheduled, the payment may have processed before the cancellation took effect. Check the dates before you dispute.

If neither explains it, contact Fubo’s support team about the billing dispute, and you can also dispute the charge with your bank or card issuer.
