To cancel a Gauth subscription, go to whichever service is actually billing you — Apple, Google Play, PayPal, or the Gauth website — and cancel there. Gauth cannot stop a charge that a third-party platform is processing on its behalf, so the method depends entirely on where you originally signed up. Gauth Plus runs roughly $10 per month up to about $100 per year, and it renews automatically until you stop it.
Find Out Who Is Actually Billing You
Most failed cancellations happen because someone tries to cancel in the wrong place. Before you do anything else, work out where the charge is coming from.
Search your email for a Gauth receipt. Apple sends receipts from no_reply@email.apple.com, and the charge appears on bank statements as APPLE.COM/BILL.1Apple Support. Get Help With Charges From apple.com/bill Google Play receipts come from googleplay-noreply@google.com and usually show up on statements with a descriptor like GOOGLE*GAUTHMATH. If neither one matches, check your PayPal activity or look for a direct charge from Gauthmath on your card statement.
Once you know the billing source, use the matching section below.
Cancel Through Apple
If you subscribed on an iPhone or iPad, Apple controls the billing.2Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple
- Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Gauth in the list.
- Tap Cancel Subscription. You may have to scroll down. A red expiration message means it is already canceled.
If you no longer have the device, sign in at account.apple.com from any browser and manage subscriptions from there.
Cancel Through Google Play
Android subscriptions are managed through your Google account, not inside the Gauth app.3Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play
- Open the Settings app and tap Google, then your name, then Manage your Google Account.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Manage subscriptions.
- Tap Gauth and select Cancel subscription.
Google may ask you to confirm or complete a short survey. You can also do all of this from a desktop by signing in at play.google.com and clicking your profile icon.
Cancel Through the Gauth Website
If you signed up directly at gauthmath.com with a credit card, sign in using the same credentials you used at checkout. Look for an account settings or subscription management area, where your current plan and a cancellation option should appear. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm.
If you created a Gauth account but actually paid through the App Store, Google Play, or PayPal, the website dashboard will not offer a cancel button. That is because Gauth is not the billing party in those cases. If no subscription controls appear, go back to the right platform above.
Cancel Through PayPal
If your Gauth billing runs through PayPal, you need to end the automatic payment agreement inside PayPal itself.4PayPal. What Is an Automatic Payment and How Do I Update or Cancel One
- On the website: Settings, then Payments, then Subscriptions and saved businesses. Find Gauth and cancel.
- In the app: tap the menu, then Subscriptions, then Gauth, then Manage, then Stop Paying with PayPal. Tap Unlink to confirm.
Canceling here immediately revokes Gauth’s permission to pull future payments.
About the 3-Day Free Trial
Gauth offers a 3-day free trial that converts to a paid subscription on day four. If you only wanted to test the app, cancel before the trial ends. On Apple and Google, canceling during the trial does not cut off access right away, so there is no reason to wait. Sign up, cancel, and keep using it through the remaining trial days.
Confirm the Cancellation Took
Go back into the same subscription screen you used to cancel. It should now show an expiration date instead of a renewal date. That date is when your Gauth Plus features end; no new charge will go through after it.
Apple and Google also send email confirmations when a subscription status changes. If the subscription still lists a future billing date, the cancellation did not go through, and you should repeat the steps. Take a screenshot of the final confirmation screen. It becomes useful evidence if a charge appears later anyway.

Each request is reviewed individually, and approval is not guaranteed.
Google Play
Request refunds through the Google Play app or play.google.com. Google may defer subscription refunds to the developer under its own policies. For unauthorized charges, you have 120 days from the transaction date to report it through Google Play.6Google Play Help. Learn About Google Play Refund Policies
Direct or PayPal Purchases
Contact Gauth support directly. Gauth generally does not issue partial refunds for mid-cycle cancellations, which is standard for subscription apps. If Gauth declines and you believe the charge was improper, you can escalate through PayPal’s dispute process or your credit card issuer.
Disputing a Charge With Your Card Issuer
If you canceled, got charged anyway, and cannot resolve it through Apple, Google, PayPal, or Gauth, you can dispute the charge with your credit card company. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, send a written dispute to your issuer’s billing inquiry address within 60 days of the statement date showing the charge.7Federal Trade Commission. Using Credit Cards and Disputing Charges Include your account number, the date and amount, and the reason you believe the charge is wrong. Certified mail with a return receipt creates proof of delivery.
The issuer must acknowledge your dispute within 30 days and resolve it within 90 days. While the investigation is open, you do not have to pay the disputed amount, and the issuer cannot report you delinquent or try to collect on that specific charge.7Federal Trade Commission. Using Credit Cards and Disputing Charges Treat this as a last resort. Card issuers notice when customers file chargebacks without first trying normal cancellation and refund channels.
