How to Cancel Gimme Care: Steps, Costs, and Refunds

To cancel Gimme Care, log in to the patient portal at gimme.care and use the cancellation option in your subscription settings, email hi@gimme.care with a clear cancellation request, or cancel through Google Play or the Apple App Store if that’s where you originally subscribed. Timing is the part people get wrong. Once your medication has been prescribed, a $100 fee kicks in, and once it ships, you can’t cancel that order at all. If you want to avoid the next charge, act before your renewal date and before anything moves to the pharmacy.1Gimme Care. Refund Policy

Cancel Through the Patient Portal

Gimme Care’s refund policy points customers to the patient portal for subscription management.1Gimme Care. Refund Policy Log in at gimme.care, open your subscription settings, and look for the cancel option. The terms of service confirm you can cancel at any time before the cancellation cutoff date that was shown when you first subscribed.2Gimme Care. Terms of Service

If the portal doesn’t show a clear cancel button, or the interface won’t cooperate, don’t waste time wrestling with it. Move to email.

Cancel by Email

Send your cancellation request to hi@gimme.care. This is the address Gimme Care’s own refund policy directs customers to use.1Gimme Care. Refund Policy Support operates 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Eastern Time.

Include your full name, the email address on your account, and a plain statement that you want to cancel your subscription and stop all future charges. Save every reply you get. If you don’t hear back within a couple of business days, follow up in writing. That paper trail is what you’ll rely on later if a charge slips through after you’ve asked for it to stop.

Cancel Through Google Play or the Apple App Store

If you subscribed through a mobile app, your billing lives with that platform, not with Gimme Care. You have to cancel in the store itself. Uninstalling the app does not stop the charges.3Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play

What It Costs Depending on When You Cancel

Gimme Care’s refund rules are stricter than most subscription services, and the exact minute you cancel determines what you pay. Once a medication has been dispensed or shipped, you cannot cancel that order, and prescription medications are non-refundable once dispensed, shipped, opened, or used.1Gimme Care. Refund Policy

  • Canceled before prescribing: full refund, issued within five to seven business days.
  • Canceled after prescribing but before shipping: $100 cancellation fee.
  • Canceled after shipping: no cancellation, no refund.

Telehealth consultation fees are non-refundable regardless of when you cancel. The policy also states plainly: “Refunds are not guaranteed. Refunds are only reviewed in limited situations.”1Gimme Care. Refund Policy All subscriptions renew automatically on the billing terms shown at checkout, so cancel well before your renewal date if you want to avoid the next charge.

Pause Instead of Cancel

If you’re not sure you’re done, you can pause instead. Email hi@gimme.care to request a pause, and wait until your current order has actually been delivered before sending the request. Asking to pause or cancel while an order is in process or already with the pharmacy can trigger the $100 cancellation fee.

A pause keeps your account and prescription on file, so you can restart without going through a new consultation. If you know you’re finished for good, cancel outright instead.

If a Charge Appears After You Cancel

Monitor your account for at least one full billing cycle after you cancel. For credit card payments, you generally have 60 days from the date your statement was sent to dispute a billing error with your card issuer. Call your bank, explain that you canceled on a specific date, and send the cancellation confirmation email as evidence.

For debit cards and bank account payments, notify your bank promptly. Federal law caps your liability for unauthorized electronic fund transfers at $50 if you report quickly, but waiting more than 60 days after the statement showing the first bad charge can expose you to the full amount of further unauthorized transfers.5Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 USC 1693g – Consumer Liability6Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. 12 CFR 1005.6 – Liability of Consumer for Unauthorized Transfers Your bank must investigate; for electronic fund transfers, resolution typically comes within 10 business days, or up to 45 days with a provisional credit while they look into it.7Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. 12 CFR 1005.11 – Procedures for Resolving Errors

Deleting Your Personal Information

Canceling stops future billing. It does not erase your data. If you want your personal information deleted, send a separate request to hi@gimme.care.8Gimme Care. Privacy Policy

Deletion has limits. Gimme Care keeps information as long as needed for legal compliance, and because they operate as a healthcare provider, certain medical records may be exempt from deletion under professional and legal obligations. The terms of service note that even after termination, the provider or pharmacy network may be required to give you access to your health records under applicable law.2Gimme Care. Terms of Service Requesting deletion can also cut off your access to services tied to that data.8Gimme Care. Privacy Policy
