To cancel Guru VPN, you have to cancel through whoever is actually charging you. If you signed up through the App Store, cancel in your iPhone or iPad settings. If you signed up through Google Play, cancel through your Google account. If PayPal is the biller, cancel the automatic payment inside PayPal. And if you bought directly from the Guru VPN website, you need to email their support team. Canceling through the wrong channel is the same as not canceling at all, which is why people keep getting charged after they think they’re done.
Find Out Who Is Actually Billing You
Pull up your bank or credit card statement and look at the merchant name on the recurring charge. “Apple” or “Apple.com/bill” means the App Store. “Google” or “GOOGLE*GuruVPN” means Google Play. “PayPal” means PayPal is holding the payment authorization. A charge that names Guru VPN directly means you subscribed on their website. Guru VPN’s own terms say the company cannot process refunds or cancellations for subscriptions bought through Google Play or the Apple App Store; those stores govern them.1Guru VPN. Terms of Service

Cancel Through PayPal
If PayPal is the biller, the recurring authorization sits inside your PayPal account, and no one else can turn it off for you.
On the website, go to Settings, then Payments, then Subscriptions and saved businesses (sometimes labeled Automatic Payments). Select the Guru VPN entry and cancel the automatic payment. In the PayPal app, tap the menu icon, tap Subscriptions or Linked Businesses, pick Guru VPN, tap Stop Paying with PayPal, and confirm with Unlink.6PayPal. Deleting the App Does Not Cancel Anything
This is the mistake that keeps people on the hook. The subscription lives with the payment platform, not with the app on your phone. Google spells this out in its documentation, and Apple works the same way.4Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play If you already uninstalled Guru VPN, you still have to go through the steps above in your device settings or payment platform.
What Happens After You Cancel
Canceling stops future charges. It does not cut off access right away. Your service stays on through the end of the billing period you last paid for, then the VPN stops working. Guru VPN does not prorate or credit unused time. Cancel on day two of a monthly plan and you keep the rest of that month, but you won’t get money back for the days you don’t use.1Guru VPN. After you cancel, check the subscription screen on your platform. You should see a cancellation date or a message that the subscription won’t renew. Screenshot it. Most platforms also send an email receipt.
Refunds and the 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
Guru VPN advertises a 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers. Within that window, you can request a full refund by emailing support@guruvpn.com.8Guru VPN. If You Get Charged After Canceling
First check the charge date against the period you’d already paid for. A charge on the day you canceled is usually the original payment, not a new one. If it’s a genuinely new charge, contact Guru VPN support or the relevant app store and ask for a reversal. If that goes nowhere, dispute the charge with your credit card company or bank. Under federal law, you have to send the dispute in writing within 60 days of the statement date that first showed the unauthorized charge.10Federal Trade Commission. href=”https://consumer.ftc.gov/articles/using-credit-cards-and-disputing-charges” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>Using Credit Cards and Disputing Charges Don’t let a slow support reply eat that deadline.
