How to Cancel Hallmark+ on Roku: Remote, Website, or Billing Source

To cancel Hallmark+ on Roku, turn off auto-renew either from your Roku remote or by signing in at my.roku.com/subscriptions. Both routes take about two minutes. The catch is that this only works if Roku is actually billing you; if you signed up through Hallmark’s website, Apple, or Google, the subscription won’t appear in Roku’s menus at all.

First, Confirm Roku Is Billing You

This is the step most people skip, and it’s why “I can’t find my subscription” is such a common complaint. Hallmark+ can be purchased through Roku Pay, directly from Hallmark, or through other app stores. Only Roku Pay subscriptions can be canceled in Roku’s settings.

Check your bank or credit card statement. Roku charges appear as “Roku,” “Roku for ____,” or “The Roku Channel.”1Roku. If There’s a Charge You Don’t Recognize on Your Roku Account If the charge shows a different company, cancel through that company instead.

You can also sign in at my.roku.com/subscriptions. If Hallmark+ shows up under “Active subscriptions,” Roku is your billing provider.2Roku Support. Manage or Cancel Subscriptions on Roku

Cancel From Your Roku Remote

The fastest route if you’re already in front of the TV:

  • Press the Home button and scroll to the Hallmark+ channel.
  • With the channel highlighted, press the Star button (the asterisk).
  • Select Manage subscription.
  • Select Turn off auto-renew and confirm.

If your Roku account has a PIN enabled, the device will ask for it before saving the change. Forgotten PINs can be reset at my.roku.com under Device settings.3Roku Support. How to Create, Change, or Remove Your Roku PIN

Cancel From the Roku Website

If you’d rather use a computer or phone:

  • Sign in at my.roku.com/subscriptions with the account linked to your Roku device.
  • Find Hallmark+ under Active subscriptions.
  • Select Manage subscription, then Turn off auto-renew.2Roku Support. Manage or Cancel Subscriptions on Roku

Be sure you’re in the same Roku account that bought the subscription. If you have more than one, the listing only shows up under the account that originally purchased it. To check which account your device uses, go to Settings > System > About on the Roku itself.

If Hallmark, Apple, or Google Is Billing You

None of the Roku steps work when the subscription was purchased elsewhere. For a direct Hallmark subscription, sign in at hallmark.com, click the person icon in the upper right, choose Account, click Edit next to Subscription, and select Cancel Subscription.4Hallmark+. Refunds, Free Trials, and Access After Canceling

Roku doesn’t issue refunds. Subscriptions bought through Roku Pay are prepaid and final, with no pro-rated refunds for partial billing periods.5Roku Support. Roku Content and Subscription Refund Policy Cancel midway through a month and you’ve still paid for that month.

Free trials are where people get caught. If you don’t turn off auto-renew before the trial ends, Hallmark+ bills you at the regular rate, listed at the time of writing as $7.99 per month or $79.99 per year. You can turn off auto-renew on day one of the trial and still watch through the rest of the trial period.

Canceling stops future charges; it doesn’t cut off access right away. You keep watching through the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for. After that, opening the channel prompts you to resubscribe.

If the Subscription Doesn’t Show Up

Two things cause this almost every time:

  • You’re signed into a different Roku account than the one linked to your TV. Check Settings > System > About on the device for the account email, then sign into that same email at my.roku.com.
  • The subscription isn’t actually billed by Roku. Check your bank statement for the charge source and cancel wherever that charge comes from.

If you’re being charged and still can’t find the subscription, the Purchase history and invoices page at my.roku.com will show whether a Hallmark charge ever ran through your Roku account.6Roku. View Your Roku Purchase History and Charges to Your Account
