To cancel a Hinovel subscription, use the same platform you signed up on: Apple handles cancellations for App Store subscribers, Google Play handles Android subscribers, and Hinovel handles anyone who subscribed directly on its website. Figure Out Where You Subscribed
Canceling on the wrong platform won’t stop the charges. Check your email for the original sign-up receipt, or look at your bank statement. Apple charges appear as “apple.com/bill.” Google charges usually show up as “GOOGLE*Hinovel” or similar. A charge directly from Hinovel means you signed up on the website. Log into that account before you start.
Cancel on iPhone or iPad
If you subscribed through the App Store, cancel in your device settings, not inside the Hinovel app.

- Tap the Hinovel subscription.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.

Cancel on Android
Android subscriptions run through Google Play. Uninstalling the Hinovel app does not cancel the subscription, and that mistake leads to months of continued charges.
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap your profile icon in the top right.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Tap the Hinovel subscription.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.

If you subscribed with a card directly on Hinovel’s site, log into your account, open your profile or account settings, and find the subscription or membership section. Cancel from there. What You Keep After You Cancel
Canceling stops future renewals but doesn’t end your current period. VIP perks continue until the paid period runs out, then the account drops to the free tier. Chapters you unlocked with purchased coins should stay readable, since coins are a separate transaction from VIP membership. VIP-exclusive content that didn’t require coins may lock again once your membership lapses. If you’re partway through a VIP-only story, finish it before the period ends.
If You’ve Already Been Charged
If a charge hit after you thought you canceled, either the cancellation didn’t process or the renewal was already queued. Go back to the platform you used and check the status. On Apple, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and confirm Hinovel shows as expired or canceled. On Google Play, check Payments & subscriptions the same way. If it still shows active, cancel again and screenshot it.
For an Apple charge, go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, select Request a refund, choose the reason, and pick the Hinovel charge. Apple usually responds in 24 to 48 hours. For a Google Play charge, Google’s policy points you first to the app developer for most in-app subscriptions, though you can also request a refund through Google Play’s support page. For a charge made directly by Hinovel, email contact@hinovel.com with your account details, the charge date, and a short explanation. Because Hinovel’s terms say paid fees are non-refundable, a voluntary refund isn’t guaranteed. Unauthorized or post-cancellation charges are a separate matter, and if the company won’t reverse one you can dispute it with your bank or card issuer. Most institutions allow chargebacks on recurring charges that continued after cancellation, especially with a confirmation email or screenshot to back it up.
