How to Cancel Homeaglow: ForeverClean, Fees, and Refunds

How you cancel Homeaglow depends on what you actually want to stop. A single upcoming cleaning, your recurring schedule, your ForeverClean membership, and your account itself are four different things, and each has its own path. Mixing them up is the most common reason people keep getting charged after they thought they were done. The ForeverClean membership is the one with real money at stake: leave before six paid months and the early termination fee usually runs $150 to $200, though a 2025 Washington State consent decree may let you walk away without paying it.

Cancel a Single Cleaning Appointment

Any individual appointment can be canceled or rescheduled free of charge as long as you do it at least six hours before the start time.1Homeaglow. What’s Homeaglow’s Cleaning Appointment Cancellation Policy? Inside that six-hour window, you lose the full payment.

Turn Off Recurring Cleanings

The recurring schedule is a separate feature from ForeverClean. Turning it off stops new appointments from being generated automatically, but it does not cancel appointments already on your calendar and it does not end your membership.3Homeaglow. How Do I Cancel My Recurring Cleaning Plan (Appointments)?

  • Click the menu icon at the top left of your dashboard.
  • Select “Settings.”
  • Click “Recurring Cleanings.”
  • Switch the “Enable recurring cleanings?” toggle off.

If you want a full break, handle the membership and any booked appointments separately.

Billing continues until that status changes.

The Early Termination Fee and How to Avoid It

Cancel ForeverClean before finishing six paid months and Homeaglow charges an early termination fee equal to the full non-membership price of your first cleaning. In practice that’s the discount you originally received at signup, and for most people it lands between $150 and $200 depending on the introductory deal.4Homeaglow. How Do I Start or Cancel My ForeverClean Membership (Subscription)? After six paid months, there is no fee.

In 2025, the Washington State Attorney General’s Office reached a consent decree with Homeaglow. Investigators found the platform had used fake countdown clocks and fabricated scarcity indicators to pressure signups, buried the membership terms and termination fee in the fine print, and advertised a 5-star TrustPilot rating while its actual rating was 1.3 stars.6Washington State Office of the Attorney General. Homeaglow Home Cleaning Platform Must Cease Deceptive and Predatory Practices

Under the consent decree, Homeaglow must disclose all membership terms clearly before collecting payment, offer a cancellation process at least as simple as signup, and allow current members to cancel without paying the early termination fee. The decree governs Homeaglow’s business practices broadly, not just Washington accounts.6Washington State Office of the Attorney General. Delete Your Account Entirely

There is no self-service button to close your Homeaglow account. You have to contact support and ask them to do it.7Homeaglow Support. How Do I Cancel/Deactivate My Account

Do these in order:

  • Cancel any active ForeverClean membership.
  • Turn off recurring cleanings.
  • Go to Homeaglow’s account deactivation help page and click “Contact Support” at the bottom.
  • In your message, explicitly ask for account deactivation, deletion of your personal data, and removal of your stored payment information.

Save a copy of the message you send. Watch your card statements for at least two billing cycles to confirm nothing else posts.

Note on Refunds for a Bad Cleaning

Canceling is not the same as getting money back for a cleaning that went poorly. Refund requests go through a separate process, must be submitted within 72 hours of the cleaning, and give the cleaner seven days to accept or decline.8Homeaglow Support. How Do I Request a Refund? The 72-hour clock runs whether or not you’re also ending your membership, so file the refund request first if a bad cleaning is what pushed you to leave.

If Homeaglow Keeps Charging You

Charges that continue after a cancellation are a common complaint. If you’ve followed the steps above and money is still coming out, escalate in this order:

  • Contact Homeaglow support again with screenshots of your cancellation confirmation and the dates of the charges. Reference the Washington consent decree’s requirement that Homeaglow promptly refund charges collected after cancellation.
  • Dispute the charges with your card issuer. Log in and start a chargeback for each unauthorized charge, or call the number on the back of your card. The FTC recommends following up in writing to your card company’s billing dispute address.9Federal Trade Commission. How to Stop Subscriptions You Never Ordered
  • File a complaint with your state attorney general’s consumer protection office. Homeaglow is already on regulators’ radar after the Washington settlement, and an official record helps if the pattern continues.

Once your membership and appointments are confirmed canceled, ask support to delete your stored payment method so nothing can be charged against it again.
