To cancel a Just Dance+ subscription, go to the platform store where you bought it and turn off auto-renewal: the Nintendo eShop on Switch, the Subscriptions menu on PlayStation, or your Microsoft account page for Xbox. Ubisoft can’t cancel it for you, because each console store handles its own billing. Once you cancel, you keep access to the full song library until the current billing period ends.
Before You Begin
Know which platform you subscribed through. Just Dance+ is sold in-game on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, and each store bills independently.
You’ll need the login for the exact account that made the purchase. On a shared console, only that account can manage the billing. On Nintendo Switch, each profile has its own subscription status, so pick the right user before opening the eShop.
Canceling on Nintendo Switch
- Open the Nintendo eShop from the HOME Menu and select the account that bought the subscription.
- Tap your user icon in the top-right corner to open your account information.
- On a Switch family console, select “Your Subscriptions.” On a Nintendo Switch 2, scroll to the “Passes” section.
- Select “Cancel Your Subscription by Turning Off Automatic Renewal” next to the Just Dance+ entry and confirm.
If that option doesn’t appear, the subscription has already been canceled or was never set to auto-renew.1Nintendo Support. How to Cancel Auto-Renewal for an In-Game Subscription
Canceling on PlayStation
On PS5, open Settings, then Users and Accounts, then Account, then Payment and Subscriptions, then Subscriptions. On PS4, the path is Settings, then Account Management, then Account Information, then Subscriptions. From either menu, select the Just Dance+ entry and choose “Cancel Subscription.”2PlayStation. How to Manage Subscriptions on PlayStation
Just Dance+ is separate from PlayStation Plus. Canceling one has no effect on the other, and you don’t need PlayStation Plus to use Just Dance+ content.
Canceling on Xbox
Xbox handles subscriptions through Microsoft’s web portal, not the console itself. Sign in at account.microsoft.com/services, find the Just Dance+ entry, select “Manage,” and choose “Turn off recurring billing.”3Microsoft Support. Turn Recurring Billing On or Off for a Microsoft Subscription
You can also reach the same page from the console: Settings, then Account, then Subscriptions. Because not all subscription charges can be refunded after the fact, turning off recurring billing before your next renewal date is the surest way to avoid an unwanted charge.4Xbox Support. If You’re on a Free Trial
Just Dance 2026 Edition includes a free trial of Just Dance+ that can roll into a paid subscription when it ends. Ubisoft puts it this way: “Once your Free Trial is over, the subscription might renew automatically.”5Ubisoft. Information About the Just Dance+ Free Trial in Just Dance 2026 Edition
The safest move is to turn off auto-renewal through your platform store as soon as you start the trial. You still get the full trial period either way, and you won’t be charged when it ends.
What Happens After You Cancel
Canceling stops future charges but doesn’t cut off access right away. You can keep playing the full Just Dance+ catalog until the end of the period you already paid for. The account page on your platform store shows the exact expiration date. After that, songs included in the base game still work, but the expanded library locks.
Refund rules depend on the platform. PlayStation allows refund requests within 14 days of the initial transaction, even if you’ve already used the subscription; after that, payments for the current period are final.6PlayStation. PlayStation Store Cancellation Policy Microsoft’s policy varies by country: prorated refunds on the most recent charge are available in Canada, France, Denmark, Korea, and a few other regions, while in the United States not all charges are refundable and requests are reviewed individually.4Xbox Support. Xbox Subscription Cancellations and Refunds For purchases made directly through the Ubisoft Store, EU and UK customers can withdraw within 14 days for a partial refund based on days used; elsewhere the subscription runs out the current cycle with no refund.7Ubisoft Store. If you’re on an annual plan, check the renewal date carefully. Canceling six months in generally won’t get you a prorated refund.
Confirming the Cancellation
Look for a confirmation email or notification from the platform store. If nothing arrives within a few hours, open the subscription management menu again and check that auto-renewal is off and the entry shows an expiration date rather than a next billing date. Save the confirmation or screenshot the status screen. If a charge still hits your card afterward, that record makes disputing it much easier.
