To cancel a LifeWave subscription, log into your account, open the Monthly Subscription Orders page, and click Stop Monthly Subscription Order. The change has to be completed at least 72 hours before your next scheduled shipment, or that order will ship and bill as usual. Save the confirmation email the system sends you.
Cancel Through Your Online Account
The online portal is the fastest route and the one that leaves the cleanest record. The path differs slightly by account type.
If you’re a Brand Partner, click Log In at the top right of the LifeWave site, then click Monthly Subscription Orders at the top of the page. Select Stop Monthly Subscription Order and follow the confirmation screens. A cancellation email should arrive shortly after.
If you’re a Preferred Customer, click Sign In at the top right, then click Monthly Subscription Orders on the left side of the page. The same Stop Monthly Subscription Order option appears. Finish the prompts and wait for the confirmation email.1LifeWave. LifeWave FAQ
Keep that email. It’s your proof that you canceled on a specific date, and you’ll need it if a charge shows up afterward.
Cancel by Phone or Email
If the portal won’t cooperate or you’d rather talk to a person, LifeWave’s U.S. customer service line is +1 (866) 202-0065, open Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mountain Time. You can also email customerservice@lifewave.com.2LifeWave. Customer Support
On a call, have your account ID ready. The representative will verify your identity before making changes. Before you hang up, ask for a confirmation number and write down the date, time, and the name of the person you spoke with. A phone call doesn’t document itself.
Email is better if you want documentation built in. Send the request from the address linked to your account, include your account ID and full name, and state plainly that you want to stop all future subscription orders and charges. The timestamp on your sent message is your proof of when you asked.
The 72-Hour Deadline
LifeWave’s policies require that cancellations or changes to a monthly subscription order be received at least 72 hours before the next scheduled shipment.3LifeWave. LifeWave Policies and Procedures Miss the window and your order will likely process and ship, turning a cancellation into a return.
Find your next shipment date in the account portal and count backward. If the order runs on the 15th, cancel by the 12th at the latest. Don’t cut it close. A week early is safer.
If You’re a Brand Partner, Read This First
Canceling your autoship is not the same as resigning your Brand Partner account, but the two are connected: maintaining a monthly subscription order is typically tied to staying active in the compensation plan.
If you resign, or your Brand Partner agreement terminates for any reason, you lose all rights to your account, your position in both the Enroller Tree and Binary Placement Tree, and all future commissions. You also lose the ability to sell LifeWave products or earn from the activity of your former downline organization.3LifeWave. LifeWave Policies and Procedures
If you want to stop the monthly product shipments but aren’t ready to give up commissions you’re actively earning, call customer service before you cancel and ask exactly how stopping the autoship affects your standing. There may be a difference between pausing and fully canceling.
Refunds If a Shipment Already Went Out
If a subscription order shipped before your cancellation took effect, you still have options.
New retail and Preferred Customers get a 90-day money-back guarantee on their very first LifeWave order. You have 90 days from the original ship date to request a full refund of the order invoice, minus shipping, by contacting customer service by phone or email. You don’t need to return the product, used or unused. The guarantee is voided if you hold multiple accounts, placed duplicate orders, or request the refund after the 90 days close.4LifeWave. Initial Order Money Back Guarantee and Return Policies
For any order after your first one, LifeWave accepts refund requests within 30 days as long as the product is returned. The refund is the purchase price minus tax and shipping.5LifeWave. Preferred Customer Program Request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from customer service, mark it clearly on the package, and ship it back promptly.
New Brand Partners have a shorter window: 30 days from the original ship date on the initial order, with an RMA number required and used and unused product returned per the policy.4LifeWave. Initial Order Money Back Guarantee and Return Policies
If Charges Keep Coming After You Cancel
Cancellations don’t always stick. The confirmation email never sent, the system glitched, or the 72-hour cutoff was tighter than you realized.
Start with LifeWave. Contact customer service with your cancellation confirmation email or reference number, point to the date you canceled, and ask them to reverse the charge. Most of these clear up quickly when you have documentation.
If that doesn’t work, dispute the charge with your credit or debit card company. You can usually file through your card’s online account or by calling the number on the back of the card. Follow up in writing to the billing disputes address your card issuer lists.6Federal Trade Commission. How to Stop Subscriptions You Never Ordered
Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, you have 60 days from the date a charge appears on your statement to notify your card issuer of a billing error in writing. Charges for goods or services you didn’t agree to, because you already canceled, qualify as billing errors under federal law.7Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 USC 1666 – Correction of Billing Errors
Your Rights Under the FTC Click-to-Cancel Rule
As of May 2025, the FTC’s click-to-cancel rule requires any company that sells subscriptions or recurring memberships to make cancellation as simple as the original signup. If you enrolled online, the company has to let you cancel online through a mechanism that is easy to find and use, and it cannot create unreasonable barriers or interfere with the process once you’ve started it.8Federal Trade Commission. Federal Trade Commission Announces Final Click-to-Cancel Rule
The rule, codified at 16 CFR Part 425, also requires sellers to clearly disclose all material terms before collecting billing information and to obtain express informed consent before charging.9Federal Register. Negative Option Rule If a cancellation request is being ignored or you’re being charged after a confirmed cancellation, you can report the company to the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov. Those complaints feed enforcement patterns rather than resolving individual charges, so pursue the chargeback in parallel.
