How to Cancel MLB TV on Any Device or Platform

To cancel MLB.TV, you need to cancel wherever you actually signed up. If you subscribed on MLB.com, you cancel through your account there. If you subscribed through Apple, Google Play, Amazon, or Roku, you have to cancel inside that platform. Canceling in the wrong place is the single most common reason people keep getting charged.

Check Who’s Billing You First

Pull up a recent credit card or bank statement before you touch any cancel button. The charge description tells you who processes the payment. Direct charges usually show as “MLB.TV” or “MLB.com.” Third-party charges appear under names like “Apple Services,” “Google Play,” or “Amazon Prime.”

Can’t find the charge? Log into MLB.com and open the subscription section of your account. If it shows no active subscription, a third-party platform is almost certainly handling your billing. Work through your Apple, Google, Amazon, or Roku subscription lists until you find it.

Canceling on MLB.com

Log into MLB.com with the email you registered under. Open the Account section and click “Manage Subscriptions.” You’ll see your current plan and renewal date. Select the cancel option, then confirm on the follow-up screen. That second confirmation is easy to miss, and skipping it leaves your subscription active.1MLB Support. Canceling Through a Third-Party Platform

If an app store or streaming device bills you, MLB.com cannot stop the charges. You cancel inside the platform that charges you. The pattern is the same everywhere: open your subscriptions list, find MLB.TV, cancel.

Apple

On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name at the top, then tap “Subscriptions.” Find MLB.TV, tap it, and tap “Cancel Subscription.” You may need to scroll down to see the button. A red expiration message means the subscription is already canceled.2Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple

Promotional and Free Subscriptions

Free MLB.TV through a T-Mobile Tuesday promotion or a similar offer often auto-renews at full price once the free season ends. Cancel through whatever method you used to activate the offer. If you redeemed a code on MLB.com, cancel in your MLB.com account. If you activated it through an app store, cancel there.

If you’re not sure, call MLB support at 866-244-2291 or email subscriptioncancel@mlb.com and ask them to confirm whether your promotional subscription will auto-renew, and to cancel the renewal if it will.1MLB Support. How to Cancel your Subscription

Refunds and Timing

MLB.com honors refund requests made within five days of your subscription purchase date. Cancel outside that window and you won’t get money back for the current billing period. A seasonal subscriber who waits until August to cancel a subscription bought in March is well past the cutoff.

Canceling an auto-renewal before the next billing date is the easier path. You simply won’t be charged again, and the next charge never happens.1MLB Support. How to Cancel your Subscription

After You Cancel

Your account status should update once the cancellation processes. Save any confirmation email you receive. If a charge still appears later, that email is the fastest way to resolve a dispute with your bank or with MLB support.
