To cancel a MyNetDiary subscription, go to the platform where you originally subscribed and cancel there: the App Store on an iPhone or iPad, the Google Play Store on Android, your account on MyNetDiary.com, or Amazon’s or Samsung’s store if you bought through one of those. Each handles its own billing, and canceling in the wrong place does nothing.
Find Out Who’s Actually Charging You
Before you cancel anything, confirm which company is billing you. Check your bank or credit card statement. Apple charges show up as “APPLE.COM/BILL.” Google charges appear as “GOOGLE*MyNetDiary” or similar. A direct website purchase shows a charge from MyNetDiary itself. If the statement isn’t clear, search your email for the original purchase receipt. It will name the platform and the account email the subscription is tied to.
Cancel on an iPhone or iPad
Subscriptions bought through the App Store are canceled in your device settings, not inside the MyNetDiary app.
- Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap MyNetDiary.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
Apple may ask you to confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode. If there’s no cancel button and you see an expiration date in red instead, the subscription is already canceled. After confirming, the screen will show an end date rather than a renewal date.1Apple. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription from Apple
Cancel on Android
For subscriptions bought through Google Play:
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap your profile icon in the top right, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Select MyNetDiary.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.
Google will ask why you’re leaving before confirming. The subscription page will then show an expiration date in place of the renewal date.2Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play
Cancel on the MyNetDiary Website
If you pay MyNetDiary directly, log in at MyNetDiary.com, open your Account page in the member section, and use the cancellation form there. The form includes a feedback section asking why you’re leaving.3MyNetDiary. Terms of Use
If you can’t log in or can’t find the form, email support@mynetdiary.com. For users who still have access, the Support tab in the member section is the fastest way to resolve a billing issue.4MyNetDiary. Contact Us
Cancel on Amazon or Samsung
For Amazon Appstore purchases, go to Your Account on Amazon’s website, select Your Apps under Digital Content and Devices, then open Your Subscriptions to cancel. Access runs through the end of your current billing period.5Amazon Customer Service. Manage Your Appstore Subscriptions from the Website
For Samsung Galaxy Store, open the Galaxy Store app, tap the Menu icon, go to Subscriptions, select the app, and tap Unsubscribe. Premium features stay available until the current billing cycle ends.
Deleting the App Doesn’t Cancel Anything
This is the mistake that catches the most people. Removing MyNetDiary from your phone does nothing to stop recurring charges. The subscription is a billing agreement between you and Apple, Google, Amazon, or MyNetDiary itself, and it lives on their servers whether or not the app is on your device. People discover months of charges on their statements for an app they thought they’d deleted away.
If you’ve already uninstalled it, you can still cancel through your device settings on Apple, the Play Store app on Android, or the relevant platform’s website. You don’t need to reinstall MyNetDiary to stop the billing.
What Happens After You Cancel
Canceling stops future charges but doesn’t cut off access right away. You keep your premium features through the end of the period you’ve already paid for. After that, your account reverts to the free tier. Your historical data stays intact, so your food diary and progress records don’t disappear. You just lose the premium extras.3MyNetDiary. Getting a Refund
MyNetDiary’s own policy is blunt: fees are nonrefundable. Their terms say they don’t offer refunds or credits for partial months, unused months, or lifetime purchases, and they don’t prorate canceled subscriptions.3MyNetDiary. Terms of Use
That policy only governs purchases made directly through the MyNetDiary website. If you subscribed through Apple or Google, their refund processes can override the developer’s terms in some situations.
Apple Refunds
Apple handles refund requests at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple evaluates each request individually, and eligibility varies by country and situation. Accidental purchases and billing errors tend to be approved more readily than buyer’s remorse.6Apple Support. Request a Refund for Apps or Content That You Bought from Apple
Google Play Refunds
Google Play has a stronger window. Within 48 hours of a subscription purchase, you may qualify for an automated refund depending on the details. After 48 hours, chances drop and the request goes to manual review. If a refund is granted, you lose access to premium features immediately rather than keeping them through the end of the billing period.7Google Play Help. For Amazon or Samsung purchases, contact those platforms’ customer service directly. Each has its own refund policy separate from MyNetDiary’s terms.
