To cancel a NY Post subscription, the method depends on how you signed up: call 1-800-552-7678 for home delivery, log in at my.nypost.com if you’re on EZ Pay or have a direct digital subscription like Post Sports+, or cancel through the App Store or Google Play if you subscribed on your phone. Using the wrong channel is the single most common reason people believe they’ve canceled and keep getting billed.1Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play
Home Delivery: Call Customer Service
For print subscribers, phone is the reliable route. Call 1-800-552-7678. The NY Post’s help page states that accounts cannot be permanently stopped over email, so a message to customerservice@nypost.com won’t finish the job.2New York Post. Customer Service You’ll move through an automated menu before reaching a representative. Have your account number ready (it’s on your mailing label) along with the name and email on the account.
Hours are narrower than most call centers: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM ET, and weekends 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM ET.3New York Post. Home Delivery Outside those windows, no one picks up. If a renewal date is close, call earlier in the week.
Home Delivery on EZ Pay: Cancel Online
If you’re enrolled in EZ Pay, the NY Post’s automatic payment program, you can skip the phone and cancel by logging in at my.nypost.com.4New York Post. Home Delivery FAQ This online option is limited to EZ Pay subscribers. Every other print customer has to call.
Once you’re signed in, open your subscription or billing settings and follow the prompts. There’s no minimum advance notice; the FAQ says you can contact customer service at any time before your expiration date and stop home delivery without a further charge.4New York Post. Home Delivery FAQ
Post Sports+ and Other Direct Digital Subscriptions
If you signed up for Post Sports+ or another digital product directly on the NY Post website, log into your subscriber account and cancel there.5New York Post. Post Sports+ Subscription Terms Open account settings and select the cancellation option.
One detail worth knowing before you cancel: early cancellation does not result in a refund of subscription fees.5New York Post. Post Sports+ Subscription Terms You keep access through the end of the period you’ve already paid for, but you won’t recover money for unused time. Digital subscriptions auto-renew at the prevailing rate once any promotional or trial period ends, so cancel before that renewal date if you don’t want to be billed at the standard price.
Subscriptions Through Apple or Google Play
This is where cancellations most often go wrong. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, NY Post customer service cannot cancel for you. You have to cancel through the platform that processes the payment. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel anything, and charges continue until you cancel at the source.1Google Play Help. What Happens After You Cancel
You generally keep access through the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for, no matter which method you used. For home delivery on non-refundable accounts, the NY Post offers two options: continue receiving the paper until your paid term expires, or transfer the remaining balance to the e-edition, the digital replica of the print paper.3New York Post. Home Delivery
Post Sports+ and other direct digital subscriptions don’t refund the unused portion, but access continues until the current term ends.5New York Post. Post Sports+ Subscription Terms If you subscribed through Apple or Google Play, any refund follows those platforms’ rules rather than the NY Post’s.
Check your bank or credit card statement in the billing cycle after cancellation to confirm no new charges appear. Save your cancellation confirmation, whether a screenshot or an email, in case you need to dispute a charge. Home delivery billing questions go back to 1-800-552-7678.2New York Post. Customer Service
Deleting Your Account Data
Canceling stops future charges, but your personal information stays in the NY Post’s systems unless you ask for it to be removed. To have billing details, contact information, and account data deleted, contact customer service by phone at 1-800-552-7678 or by email at customerservice@nypost.com and specifically request account deletion. There’s no self-service option, so expect some back-and-forth before it’s done.
