How to Cancel or Pause Your HeyGen Subscription

To cancel a HeyGen subscription, go to the platform where you signed up: the HeyGen website’s Plan & Billing settings if you subscribed directly, the App Store if you subscribed on an iPhone or iPad, or Google Play if you subscribed on Android. Your paid features stay active until the end of the current billing cycle, then the account drops to the Free tier.

Cancel on the HeyGen Website

If you signed up directly at heygen.com, cancel from inside your account:

  • Click your name or initial in the bottom-left corner of the home screen, then select Settings.
  • In the left-side menu, click Plan & Billing. Your current plan appears under the HeyGen App section.
  • Look for the small down arrow to the far right of the Upgrade button. Click it to reveal Cancel Plan and Pause Plan.
  • Answer the two survey questions, then click Continue Cancelling twice to confirm.

Cancel on iPhone or iPad

If you subscribed through an Apple device, Apple handles the billing and the cancellation has to happen there, not on HeyGen’s site.

  • Open the Settings app.
  • Tap your name at the top.
  • Tap Subscriptions.
  • Tap HeyGen in the list.
  • Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.

Cancel on Android

If you subscribed on an Android phone or tablet, Google Play manages the billing.

  • Open the Google Play app.
  • Tap your profile icon and go to Subscriptions.
  • Select the HeyGen subscription.
  • Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.

Pause Instead of Cancel

The same dropdown that shows Cancel Plan also shows Pause Plan. Pausing pushes your next charge back 30 days from your last billing cycle date, but paid features are unavailable while the pause is active.1HeyGen Help Center. Refunds Are a Separate Request

Canceling does not trigger a refund. If you want your money back, you have to ask for it, and the window is narrow.

For subscriptions bought directly on HeyGen’s website, you have 15 days from the purchase date to request a refund. HeyGen can still deny the request if you’ve already generated a significant amount of content, because video generation consumes their computing resources.4HeyGen Help Center. What Happens to Your Credits and Videos

HeyGen plans include a monthly credit allocation you spend on video generation, avatars, and translations.5HeyGen. Once you’re on the Free plan, you’re limited to three videos per month, one minute per video, standard processing speed, and one custom Digital Twin.5HeyGen. Pricing Plans for Creators and Marketers Download any videos you want to keep before your paid access expires.

Canceling Is Not the Same as Deleting

Cancellation stops future charges. Your account, videos, and data stay on HeyGen’s servers. To remove everything:

  • Click the box with your initial in the lower-left corner.
  • Select Settings.
  • Under the Account tab, click Delete Account.
  • Type your email address to confirm.

Enterprise Subscriptions

Self-service cancellation doesn’t apply to Enterprise plans. HeyGen’s service agreement states that service quantities on your order form cannot be decreased before the end of the current contract term, whether or not you use them.8HeyGen.
