To cancel your Oura Ring membership, open the Oura app or sign in to the Membership Hub at membership.ouraring.com and cancel from your account. It takes about two minutes. Oura bills directly at $5.99 per month or $69.99 per year in the U.S., so the cancellation happens inside Oura’s own tools rather than through your phone’s subscription settings.1Oura Member Care. Canceling in the App or on the Web
Most people signed up directly with Oura, which means the cancellation lives in one of two places. Pick whichever is easier to reach.
In the Oura app:
- Tap the menu icon in the upper-left corner of the home screen.
- Select Settings, then scroll to Account.
- Tap Manage Membership.
- Follow the prompts to confirm.
On the web, log in to the Membership Hub at membership.ouraring.com and cancel from your account dashboard.2Oura Ring. Oura Ring Membership Use the email and password you set up with the ring.
If You Subscribed Through Apple or Google
A smaller number of users started their subscription through the App Store or Google Play. If the Membership Hub shows no active subscription but Apple or Google keeps charging your card, cancel through your phone instead.
On an iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, find Oura, and tap Cancel Subscription.3Apple. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple On Android, open the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, go to Payments and Subscriptions, select Oura, and cancel. Finish before your next billing date, or the next cycle will still be charged.
Canceling During the Free Trial
A new ring purchase includes one complimentary month of membership, starting the moment you pair the ring with the app. The trial can’t be paused or restarted. Your payment method isn’t charged until the free month ends, at which point the monthly or annual plan you chose begins auto-billing. Cancel before that first month runs out and you won’t be charged at all.1Oura Member Care. Oura Membership
This trial is separate from the 30-day hardware return window, which is a return policy for the ring itself, not the subscription. New owners mix the two up often.
What Happens After You Cancel
Access doesn’t cut off the moment you click cancel. You keep every membership feature until the current billing cycle ends. Oura does not issue prorated refunds for partial months or years.1Oura Member Care. Oura Membership
Once the cycle expires, the app drops to a limited view: your three daily scores for Readiness, Activity, and Sleep, plus battery level, basic profile information, and the Explore content library. The detailed sleep stages, 24/7 heart rate, blood oxygen, temperature trends, daytime stress, third-party integrations, cycle and pregnancy insights, and periodic reports all disappear from view.1Oura Member Care. The ring keeps collecting data, and your account keeps it too. Oura retains your biometric and account data after cancellation, and it stays accessible in your account. Data is only removed if you explicitly delete your entire Oura account through the app or the My Account section on Oura’s website. Resubscribe later, whether months or years out, and your history should still be there.
Exporting Your Data Before You Lose the View
You can download your personal data as a CSV file whether or not the membership is active. Log in to the Membership Hub at membership.ouraring.com, select Export data, then Request your data. One quirk: durations in the export show as total seconds rather than hours and minutes, so plan on converting them in a spreadsheet. Active members with a Gen3 or later ring have a second option, Oura Trends through cloud.ouraring.com, which lets you pick specific date ranges and metrics before exporting.
