How to Cancel Paramount+: Apple, Google Play, Roku, and More

To cancel Paramount Plus, go to whichever service actually charges you each month and stop the subscription there. If Paramount+ bills you directly, you cancel on paramountplus.com. If you signed up through Apple, Google Play, Amazon, Roku, Walmart+, or T-Mobile, you have to cancel through that provider. Paramount+ cannot stop a charge coming from a billing platform it doesn’t control, so this first step decides everything that follows.

Check Who Bills You

Look at your bank or credit card statement and find the name on the recurring charge. If it reads “Paramount+” or “Paramount Plus,” you subscribed directly. If it reads Apple, Google, Amazon, or Roku, that platform is your biller and the only place a cancellation will stick.

You can also confirm from inside your account. Log in at paramountplus.com, click your profile name, and open “Account.” The billing section shows who handles payments.1Paramount+ Help Center. How do I cancel my subscription

One warning before you do anything else: deleting the Paramount+ app from your phone or TV does not cancel the subscription. The charges continue until you cancel with the actual biller.

Cancel Directly on Paramount+

If Paramount+ charges you, sign in at paramountplus.com, click your profile name, and open “Account.” Click “Cancel Subscription.” A few retention screens will try to talk you out of it. Click through them and confirm until you see a final cancellation message on screen.

Paramount+ will email a confirmation. Save it. If an unexpected charge appears later, that email is your proof. Your account page should also switch from showing your next billing date to showing when access will end.

Cancel Through Apple

If you signed up on an iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV, Apple is almost always your biller, and you have to cancel in Apple’s settings rather than on Paramount+.1Paramount+ Help Center. How do I cancel my subscription

On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then tap “Subscriptions.” Select Paramount+ and tap “Cancel Subscription.” If there’s no cancel button and you see a red expiration message, the subscription has already been canceled.2Apple Support. If you want to cancel a subscription from Apple

On Apple TV 4K, go to Settings, then Profiles and Accounts, pick your profile, and choose “Subscriptions.” Select Paramount+ and follow the on-screen steps.3Apple Support. Manage subscriptions on Apple TV 4K

Cancel Through Google Play

If you subscribed on an Android phone or Android TV, Google Play is your biller. Open the Google Play Store app, tap the menu icon, go to Account, then Subscriptions. Select Paramount+ and tap “Cancel.” Google Play requires you to cancel more than 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge, so don’t wait until the last minute.

Cancel Through Amazon

If you added Paramount+ as a Prime Video channel, Amazon handles billing. Go to “Your Memberships & Subscriptions” in your Amazon account.4Amazon. Cancel Through Roku

Roku gives you two routes. On the web, go to my.roku.com/subscriptions, pick Paramount+ under “Active subscriptions,” click “Manage subscription,” and select “Turn off auto-renew.”6Roku Support. Manage or cancel subscriptions on Roku

On the device, press Home, highlight the Paramount+ tile, and press the Star button on the remote. Choose “Manage subscription,” then “Turn off auto-renew.”

Cancel Through Walmart+ or T-Mobile

Walmart+ members get Paramount+ as a bundled benefit. If you only want to drop the Paramount+ portion, say because you upgraded to a higher streaming tier through Walmart, use the “Manage your plan” section for streaming services inside your Walmart+ account.7Walmart. Walmart+ Streaming Benefits If you cancel Walmart+ itself, verify that the Paramount+ access actually ends, because the two platforms don’t always communicate the change cleanly.

T-Mobile customers who received Paramount+ as a plan perk manage it inside their T-Mobile account settings.8T-Mobile Support. Paramount+ Removal steps vary by plan, so check the “Manage your plan” page for the current options.

What Happens After You Cancel

Cancellation doesn’t shut off access right away. On a paid subscription, you keep watching through the end of the billing period you already paid for, and the cancellation takes effect on the renewal date.9Paramount+ Help Center. How and when will I be billed for my Paramount+ subscription

Free trials are different. Canceling during a trial generally ends access at the end of the trial, not a month later, because there’s no paid period to ride out. If you know you don’t want to keep the service, cancel before the trial window closes to avoid being charged for the first month.

Refunds

Paramount+ generally does not refund fees you’ve already paid. The terms of use state that you will not be refunded for any fees paid. The written exceptions are narrow: if Paramount+ overcharges you, it will issue a credit or refund and offer you the option to cancel, and if Paramount+ discontinues part of the service you subscribed to, you’re entitled to a refund for the unused portion.10Paramount. Paramount+ Terms of Use

In practice, subscribers hit with a surprise annual renewal who contact support quickly sometimes report receiving a “one-time courtesy” refund. That isn’t guaranteed by the policy. If Apple, Google, Amazon, or Roku billed you, each has its own refund process, and that’s a separate avenue worth trying.

Canceling vs. Deleting Your Account

These are two different actions. Canceling stops future charges, lets you finish the billing period, and leaves your profile, watch history, and preferences intact so you can come back later.

Deleting the account is permanent. Per Paramount’s terms, deletion means you lose access to the account, all profiles on it, and your viewing preferences; access ends immediately, and there’s no refund for any remaining paid time.10Paramount. Paramount+ Terms of Use If you want your personal data removed as well, Paramount handles that through a separate privacy request portal, not through the app’s cancel or delete controls.

For most people, canceling is enough. Delete the account only if you’re sure you won’t be back and want the data gone.
