To cancel your Paramount+ free trial, cancel through whichever company actually bills you — Paramount+ directly, Apple, Google Play, Amazon Prime Video, Roku, Walmart+, or T-Mobile — before the trial period ends. Check Who Bills You Before You Cancel Anything
This is the step people skip, and it’s the reason they get charged anyway. Open your bank or credit card statement and look at the charge description. If it reads “Paramount+” or “Paramount Plus,” you subscribed directly. If it reads “Apple.com/bill,” “Google,” “Amazon,” or “Roku,” that platform manages your subscription and you have to cancel through them. Canceling on the wrong platform does nothing to stop the billing.
You can confirm the same thing inside Paramount+ itself. Log in on the website or app and open your account page. If a third party handles your billing, the page will say so and won’t show a cancel button. Thirty seconds here saves the trial.
Cancel a Direct Paramount+ Subscription

Paramount+ often shows a retention offer during this flow — reported examples include two free months or a discount on an annual plan. Cancel Through Apple
If you signed up on an iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV, Apple handles your billing. Open the Settings app, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. Find Paramount+ in the list and select Cancel Subscription.2Apple Support. If Paramount+ doesn’t appear in your subscription list, you didn’t sign up through Apple and need to check another platform.
Cancel Through Google Play

Cancel Through Amazon Prime Video
This is the most common path right now, because Prime Video is one of the few places still offering a Paramount+ free trial as a channel add-on. Go to “Manage Your Subscriptions” on Amazon’s website, select “Your subscriptions” from the top menu, find the Paramount+ add-on, select Unsubscribe, and confirm.4Amazon. Canceling the Paramount+ channel does not cancel your Amazon Prime membership. They’re separate subscriptions with separate billing.
Cancel Through Roku

Cancel Through Walmart+ or T-Mobile Bundles
Paramount+ Essential comes bundled with Walmart+ memberships. If that’s how you got the service, you don’t cancel Paramount+ separately. Go to your Walmart+ account and select “Manage your plan” for streaming services. If you upgraded to the Premium tier through Walmart, you can downgrade back to the included Essential tier from the same page; no refund is issued for the upgrade, but you won’t be charged at the next renewal.6Walmart. T-Mobile customers who received Paramount+ as a plan perk are in a similar position. To switch away from the T-Mobile version, cancel through T-Mobile first, wait for the current billing cycle to end, then sign up fresh elsewhere.7T-Mobile. What Happens After You Cancel
Cancellation doesn’t cut you off immediately. On a free trial, you keep access until the trial period ends. On a paid subscription, you keep access through the end of the billing cycle you already paid for.1Paramount+ Help Center. There’s no reason to wait until the last day. Cancel on day one and you still get every day of your trial. Setting a reminder the moment you sign up is the safest way to handle it.
If You Already Got Charged
If you missed the window, Paramount+ is direct about its policy: you generally won’t receive a refund for charges already processed, though you keep access through the billing period you paid for.8Paramount+ Help Center. Third-party platforms each have their own refund process:

- Amazon and Roku: contact customer service directly. Neither publishes a self-serve refund tool, but both have been known to reverse recent charges, especially first-time billing after a trial.
One tradeoff worth knowing: if Paramount+ issues a refund directly, your access ends immediately rather than running through the billing cycle.8Paramount+ Help Center.
