To cancel Paramount Plus on Android, you need to cancel through whoever is actually charging you. If you signed up inside the app through Google Play, cancel in the Play Store. If you signed up on the Paramount Plus website, cancel on the website using a browser. If you added Paramount Plus through Amazon, Roku, or Apple, cancel through that platform. Canceling in the wrong place won’t stop the charges.
Check Who Is Billing You
Look at your bank or credit card statement first. A charge from “Google” or “Google Play” means your subscription runs through the Play Store. A charge from “Paramount+” or “Paramount Plus” means Paramount bills you directly. You can also open the Paramount Plus app, tap your profile icon, open Account, and read the subscription details there.
This one check decides which set of steps below applies to you. Canceling inside the Paramount Plus app does nothing if Google collects your payment, and canceling in Google Play does nothing if Paramount bills you directly.
Cancel Through the Google Play Store
If you tapped “Subscribe” inside the Paramount Plus app after downloading it from the Play Store, Google is almost certainly the biller.
- Open the Google Play Store app and tap your profile icon in the top right.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Find Paramount Plus in the list and tap it.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts to confirm.

Sign in with the same Google account you used when you first subscribed. If you have more than one Google account on your phone, the subscription will only show up under the correct one. Switch accounts from the profile icon on the Play Store’s main screen if Paramount Plus doesn’t appear.
Cancel Directly Through Paramount Plus
If your statement shows the charge coming straight from Paramount Plus, the Android app won’t help you. There is no cancellation option in the app for direct subscribers. Use a browser on your phone or a computer.
- Go to paramountplus.com and sign in with the email and password on your account.
- Tap your username or profile icon in the upper right, then select Account.
- Find the Cancel Subscription link in your plan details and tap it.
- Follow the prompts to confirm.

If You Subscribed Through Amazon, Roku, or Apple
Adding Paramount Plus as a channel through Amazon Prime Video means Amazon bills you, and you cancel in your Prime Video account under Your subscriptions, where you tap Unsubscribe next to the Paramount Plus add-on.2Amazon. Watch for Retention Offers
During the cancellation flow, Paramount Plus often shows a screen asking why you’re leaving and then offers a discount. If price is the reason you’re canceling, the offer may be worth taking. Read the terms before accepting, because some retention deals lock you into an annual commitment. If you want out, click past the offers to the final confirmation.
What Happens After You Cancel

Paramount Plus does not refund the unused portion of a billing period. Once you’ve paid for a cycle, that payment stands even if you cancel the next day, and this applies to both monthly and annual plans.4Paramount+. How Do I Cancel My Subscription?
On a free trial, cancel before the trial ends to avoid any charge. As of 2026, Paramount Plus offers a seven-day free trial for new subscribers. A calendar reminder a day or two before the trial expires is the safest way to test the service without committing.
Confirm the Cancellation Worked
Check your bank statement after what would have been your next billing date. Paramount Plus Essential runs $9 per month and Premium runs $14 per month, so you know the amount to watch for. Your bank can also reverse unauthorized charges through a chargeback if the company doesn’t resolve it.
Deleting Your Account Is a Separate Step
Canceling stops payments. Your account, watch history, and personal data stay on Paramount’s servers.
