To cancel Paramount+, you have to go through whoever actually bills you each month, which is not always Paramount. If you signed up on paramountplus.com, you cancel there. If you signed up through Apple, Google Play, Amazon, Roku, Xfinity, T-Mobile, or Walmart+, Paramount cannot cancel the subscription for you, because it does not control the billing. That one distinction is what makes a Paramount Plus cancellation stick, so the first step is figuring out which company is charging your card.
Find Out Who Is Actually Billing You
Pull up your bank or credit card statement and look at the transaction description. “Paramount Plus” means Paramount bills you directly. “Apple.com/bill,” “Google Play,” “Amazon MKTP,” or “Roku” means a third party is handling the charge, and you have to cancel there.
You can also check inside your Paramount account. Log into paramountplus.com, click your profile name, select “Account,” and look at the Subscription & Billing section. It will tell you who manages the payment. If it points to an app store, streaming device, or bundle partner, Paramount’s own support team cannot process the cancellation for you.1Paramount Plus Support. How do I cancel my subscription
Cancel on the Paramount Plus Website
If Paramount bills you directly, do this from a browser:
- Go to paramountplus.com and click your profile name in the top-right corner.
- Click “Account.”
- Scroll to “Subscription & Billing” and click “Cancel Subscription.”
- Work through the confirmation prompts. Paramount will usually ask why you’re leaving and may offer a discount.
- Click the final confirmation button.
Screenshot the confirmation page. If a charge appears later, that screenshot is your proof. Afterward, check the account dashboard. It should show an expiration date, not a renewal date. If it still shows a renewal date, the cancellation did not go through.1Paramount Plus Support. How do I cancel my subscription
Cancel Through Apple
If your statement shows “Apple.com/bill,” you subscribed through the App Store. On an iPhone or iPad:
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap “Subscriptions.”
- Select Paramount Plus.
- Tap “Cancel Subscription” and confirm.
After you confirm, the listing changes from a renewal date to an expiration date. You keep access until that date, and Apple will not bill you again.2Apple. If you want to cancel a subscription from Apple
Cancel Through Google Play
Android subscribers who signed up through the Play Store have to cancel there. Uninstalling the Paramount Plus app does not stop the billing.
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Go to your subscriptions. You can also reach them through Settings > Google > your name > Manage your Google Account > Payments & subscriptions > Manage subscriptions.
- Select Paramount Plus.
- Tap “Cancel subscription” and follow the prompts.
Google confirms immediately and shows when your access expires.3Google Play Help. Cancel, pause, or change a subscription on Google Play
Cancel Through Amazon
If you added Paramount Plus as a channel through Prime Video, Amazon handles the billing. Open “Your Memberships and Subscriptions” in your Amazon account settings, find Paramount Plus, and turn off auto-renewal. Canceling Amazon Prime itself does not cancel a Paramount Plus channel subscription. They are separate charges, and the channel keeps billing after Prime ends.4Amazon. Cancel Through Roku
For Roku Pay subscriptions, you can cancel from the device or the web. On the device, press Home, highlight the Paramount Plus app, press the Star button, select “Manage subscription,” then “Turn off auto-renew.” Online, go to my.roku.com/subscriptions, find Paramount Plus, and turn off auto-renew.5Roku Support. Cancel Through a Cable or Wireless Bundle
Bundles are where cancellations usually fail, because the Paramount charge is folded into another bill and never shows up as a separate line on your card.
Xfinity
If you subscribed through an X1 TV Box or Xumo Stream Box, cancel on the device. Open Settings, go to “Apps & Subscription Management” (or say “Manage Paramount Plus” into the Xfinity Voice Remote), select “Unsubscribe,” and confirm on the next screen. Without the box, you have to contact Xfinity support to cancel.6Xfinity Support. Manage your Paramount+ subscription on Xfinity
T-Mobile
T-Mobile includes Paramount Plus as a free perk on certain home internet plans. To remove it, open the T-Life app, select Manage, then “See plans,” then “Manage add-ons.” In Services, deselect Paramount Plus and submit. Canceling T-Mobile service entirely ends your Paramount access immediately.7T-Mobile Support. Paramount+ ON US
Walmart+
If you picked Paramount Plus as your Walmart+ streaming benefit, you manage it inside Walmart, not Paramount. Sign in, open Account, select Walmart+, and find the streaming benefit. Walmart only lets you switch streaming providers once every 90 days. Ending your Walmart+ membership ends Paramount access with it.8Walmart. Walmart+ Streaming Benefits
If You Are Still Inside the Free Trial
Paramount Plus offers a seven-day free trial for new subscribers. You can cancel any time in those seven days and avoid a charge. The cancellation path is the same as above and depends on where you signed up. The trial does not quietly expire. It converts to a paid subscription on day eight unless you actively cancel. If you only signed up for a specific event, set a reminder for day five or six.
Refunds and Remaining Access
Paramount Plus does not refund subscription fees you have already paid. After you cancel, you keep access until the end of the current billing period, and no money comes back. The company’s policy allows for “certain circumstances” where you may be entitled to a refund under the Terms of Use, but Paramount states that granting one refund does not obligate it to grant another. If a refund is issued, access ends immediately rather than running out the billing cycle.9Paramount+ Help Center. What’s the refund policy for Paramount+
Annual plans work the same way. Cancel six months into a yearly subscription and you keep the remaining six months of access, but you do not get a prorated refund for the unused portion.
If Charges Keep Hitting Your Account After You Cancel
Start with Paramount’s own support portal at support.paramountplus.com, which routes you through a category menu to a live chat agent. Have your cancellation screenshot ready.
If Paramount cannot resolve it, or the charge is coming from a third-party biller that keeps running, federal law gives you a separate tool. You can stop any preauthorized recurring electronic debit by telling your bank at least three business days before the next scheduled charge. The notice can be oral, though your bank may require you to confirm it in writing within 14 days. The merchant’s permission is not required.10Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 U.S. Code 1693e – Preauthorized transfers
If the bank fails to stop a payment after proper notice, the bank itself becomes liable for the unauthorized transfer. On a credit card, you can also dispute the charge as unauthorized, which starts a chargeback investigation. Between stop-payment rights on debit and chargeback rights on credit, a cancelled subscription should not be able to keep draining your account.11HelpWithMyBank.gov.
