How to Cancel Paramount Plus on Roku: Remote, Browser, and Refunds

To cancel Paramount Plus on Roku, open my.roku.com/subscriptions or press the asterisk button on your remote while highlighting the Paramount Plus tile, then select Manage subscription and confirm the cancellation. That path only works if Roku is the one billing you, so check that first.

Confirm Who Charges You Each Month

Sign in at my.roku.com/subscriptions. If Paramount Plus appears under your active subscriptions, Roku collects your payment and you cancel through Roku. If it doesn’t appear there, you subscribed directly through Paramount Plus or through another platform like Apple, Amazon, or Google Play, and canceling on Roku won’t stop the charges.1Roku. Manage or Cancel Subscriptions on Roku

The rule is simple: cancel wherever the charge shows up on your statement.

Cancel With Your Roku Remote

From the home screen, move the cursor onto the Paramount Plus tile without opening it. Press the asterisk (*) button on your remote to open the channel options. Choose Manage subscription, then Cancel subscription, and confirm. A screen shows the date your access ends, and auto-renewal turns off immediately.1Roku. Manage or Cancel Subscriptions on Roku

Cancel From a Browser

If the remote isn’t in front of you, go to my.roku.com/subscriptions from any device and sign in with your Roku email and password. Find Paramount Plus under Active subscriptions, select it, and choose to cancel. Confirm on the review screen. The status changes right away, and the page displays the last date you can still stream.1Roku. Manage or Cancel Subscriptions on Roku

If You Subscribed Directly or Through Another Platform

Anyone who signed up on paramountplus.com, in the Paramount Plus mobile app, or through Apple, Amazon, or Google has a billing relationship outside of Roku. To cancel a direct Paramount subscription, go to paramountplus.com, click your profile name in the top right, click Account, scroll to the bottom, and click Cancel Subscription. Subscriptions started through Apple TV, Amazon, or Google Play have to be canceled in that platform’s own subscription settings.2Paramount Plus. How Do I Cancel My Subscription

Canceling During a Free Trial

A free trial through Roku converts automatically into a paid subscription the moment the trial ends, so you have to cancel before that date. Canceling early doesn’t cut off access; you keep streaming through the rest of the trial, and it simply expires without a charge.1Roku. Manage or Cancel Subscriptions on Roku If you’re only testing the service, cancel the same day you sign up.

Access and Refunds After You Cancel

Cancellation doesn’t end streaming right away. Roku keeps Paramount Plus active through the end of the billing period you already paid for. Cancel on the 10th with a cycle that runs through the 28th, and you can keep watching until the 28th.3Roku. Roku Content and Subscription Refund Policy

Roku does not issue partial refunds for the unused portion of a billing period, and this applies to both monthly and annual plans. Paramount Plus follows the same policy for direct subscribers.3Roku. Roku Content and Subscription Refund Policy

If You’re Still Being Charged

If a charge shows up after you canceled, the cancellation may not have processed, or you may have a second subscription running through a different billing path. Go back to my.roku.com/subscriptions and confirm the status reads as canceled. If it does and the charge is still hitting your card, Roku’s support team can look at billing disputes through the chat option at support.roku.com.
