To cancel Paramount Plus on your TV, you have to go through whichever platform processes your payment: Roku, Amazon, Apple, Google, Samsung, LG, or Paramount Plus itself. Deleting the app does nothing. Once you know who bills you, the actual cancellation takes about two minutes.
Find Out Who Bills You First
This is the step most people skip, and it’s why most cancellation attempts fail. Open the Paramount Plus app on your TV, go to your account or profile screen, and look for billing information. The screen will show whether Paramount Plus bills you directly or whether a platform handles the payment.
Your bank statement is the other quick check. A charge from “Roku,” “Apple,” “Amazon,” or “Google” tells you which platform to use. A charge from “Paramount+” means you signed up through the Paramount Plus website and need to cancel there.
Canceling on Roku
Roku subscriptions are managed from the device home screen, not inside the app.
- Press Home on your Roku remote.
- Highlight the Paramount Plus app with the arrow buttons. Don’t open it.
- Press the Star button (the asterisk) to open the options menu.
- Select Manage subscription to see your renewal date and plan.
- Select Turn off auto-renew. Access continues through the end of the current billing cycle.

Canceling on Amazon Fire TV
Amazon doesn’t let you cancel directly from the Fire TV interface. Use a phone or computer browser.
- Go to amazon.com/appstoresubscriptions and sign in with the Amazon account linked to your Fire TV.
- Find Paramount Plus in your active subscriptions.
- Select Actions, then Cancel your subscription.
If Paramount Plus doesn’t show up in that list, you subscribed through a different platform or through Paramount Plus directly.
Canceling on Apple TV
Apple routes all subscription management through your Apple Account, not through individual apps.
- Open Settings from the Apple TV home screen.
- Select your name at the top.
- Go to Subscriptions.
- Select Paramount Plus, then Cancel Subscription.

Canceling on Google TV and Android TV
Chromecast with Google TV and Android TV sets from brands like Sony, Hisense, and TCL manage subscriptions through the Google Play Store.
- Open the Google Play Store app on your TV.
- Go to your subscriptions under your profile or account settings.
- Select Paramount Plus.
- Tap Cancel subscription and confirm.

Canceling on Samsung Smart TVs
Samsung TVs from 2017 onward use Samsung Checkout. The exact menu wording varies by model year.
- Open Settings.
- Go to General, then System Manager.
- Select Samsung Account, then My Account.
- Open Payment Info, then Subscriptions.
- Highlight Paramount Plus and select cancel or unsubscribe.

Canceling on LG Smart TVs
LG routes subscriptions through the LG Content Store.
- Press Home on your LG remote.
- Open the LG Content Store.
- Select your profile or account icon, usually in the top right.
- Go to My Page or Account Management.
- Open Subscriptions or Purchase History.
- Find Paramount Plus, select it, and choose Cancel.
If those options aren’t available on the TV, sign into your LG account at lg.com and manage the subscription under My Account.
If You Added Paramount Plus Inside Prime Video or Apple TV
Paramount Plus can also be purchased as a channel add-on inside another streaming service. That changes who’s billing you, so deleting the Paramount Plus app or contacting Paramount won’t stop the charges.

If Paramount Plus Bills You Directly
When your statement shows a charge from “Paramount+” rather than from a platform, you signed up on the Paramount Plus website. No TV menu will cancel it. Sign into paramountplus.com from a phone, tablet, or computer, go to account settings, and cancel from there. The TV app may display your billing source, but the cancellation itself has to happen on the website.
Deleting the App Doesn’t Cancel Anything
This one catches people every month. Removing Paramount Plus from your TV, uninstalling it, or factory-resetting the device does nothing to stop the billing. The subscription lives with whichever platform processed your payment, not with the app on your screen. Charges keep coming until you cancel through the right billing settings.
What Happens After You Cancel
Once the cancellation is confirmed, you keep access to Paramount Plus through the end of the current billing cycle. Pay on the 5th and cancel on the 18th, and you can still watch through the 5th of next month. Canceling during a free trial takes effect at the end of the trial. Miss that window and you’ll be charged for the first full cycle. Promotional offers that span multiple billing periods have a wrinkle: cancel mid-promotion and access ends with the current billing period, not at the end of the full promotional term.6Paramount+ Support. After you cancel, check the subscription list on whichever platform you used and confirm the status reads canceled. Watch your bank statement through the next billing date. If a new charge appears, contact the billing platform (Roku, Apple, Amazon, Google, Samsung, or LG) rather than Paramount Plus, since the platform is the one processing payment.
Your Right to a Simple Cancellation
The FTC’s click-to-cancel rule requires sellers to make canceling as easy as signing up. It mandates a straightforward cancellation mechanism and prohibits companies from burying the cancel button or forcing you through retention offers first.
