To cancel Paramount Plus, sign in to the same service that bills you and turn off the subscription there. If Paramount+ charges your card directly, cancel on paramountplus.com or in the app. If you signed up through Apple, Google Play, Amazon, Roku, or a mobile carrier like T-Mobile or Verizon, you have to cancel through that platform — Paramount+ cannot stop those charges for you. Canceling in the wrong place is the single most common reason people keep getting billed after they thought they were done.
Check Who Actually Bills You
Pull up your bank or credit card statement before you touch any settings. The merchant name on the charge tells you where to cancel. “Paramount+” or “CBS Interactive” means Paramount bills you directly. “Apple,” “Google,” “Amazon,” or “Roku” means that platform owns the billing relationship, and you have to cancel there. Paramount+ renews automatically on a monthly or annual cycle until you actively stop it.1Paramount+ Support. How and When Will I Be Billed for My Paramount+ Subscription?
If Paramount+ came bundled with a mobile plan from T-Mobile, Verizon, or another carrier, manage it through your carrier’s account or contact the carrier directly. Paramount+ doesn’t control that billing either.
Cancel Directly on Paramount+
Go to paramountplus.com in a web browser and sign in. Tap your profile icon, open your Account page, and find Cancel Subscription. The site asks why you’re leaving and may offer a discount to stay. Click through the retention prompts, then confirm.
The mobile app works the same way through your profile and account settings. One catch: if you originally subscribed inside the app on an iPhone or iPad, Paramount+ will send you to Apple to cancel instead.
Cancel Through Apple
On an iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Tap Paramount+ and tap Cancel Subscription.2Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple
On a Mac, open the App Store, click your name, then Account Settings. Scroll to Subscriptions, click Manage, pick Paramount+, and click Cancel.3Apple Support. See Your Purchases and Subscriptions in the App Store on iPhone – Section: Change or Cancel a Subscription
Cancel Through Google Play
On an Android device, open the Play Store, tap your profile icon, then Payments & Subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Select Paramount+, tap Cancel Subscription, and confirm.4Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play
From a browser, play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions does the same thing. Find Paramount+, click Cancel, and confirm.
Cancel Through Amazon
If you added Paramount+ as a Prime Video channel, sign in to Amazon and open Memberships & Subscriptions. Find Paramount+, select it, and unsubscribe. Amazon asks you to confirm.5Amazon. Cancel Your Prime Video Add-On Subscription
This is the right path whether you watch through the Prime Video app, a Fire TV, or the website. Amazon handles the billing no matter which device you stream on.
Cancel Through Roku
Press Home on your Roku remote, highlight the Paramount+ app, and press the Star (*) button. Choose Manage Subscription, then Turn Off Auto-Renew. Roku will ask whether to keep the app installed until your billing period ends or remove it now.6Roku Support. Manage or Cancel Subscriptions on Roku
If Manage Subscription doesn’t appear when you press Star, Roku isn’t the biller. Go back to your statement and find out who is.7Roku Support. Manage or Cancel Subscriptions on Roku
Canceling During a Free Trial
You can cancel any time before the trial ends and avoid being charged. Day one works as well as the day before expiration — you keep access through the end of the trial either way. Use the same cancellation path that matches how you signed up.
The real risk is forgetting. When a trial ends without a cancellation, Paramount+ converts the account to paid and charges the card on file. A calendar reminder a day or two before the trial ends is the easiest fix.
Refunds and Remaining Access
Paramount+ does not refund canceled subscriptions. You keep access through the end of your current billing period, monthly or annual, but you don’t get money back for unused time.8Paramount+. How Do I Cancel My Subscription?
The policy page notes that “certain circumstances” tied to the Terms of Use may legally entitle you to a refund, and that any refund granted doesn’t set a precedent. If a refund is issued, access ends immediately instead of continuing through the billing period.9SHOWTIME Help Center. What’s the Refund Policy for Paramount+?
One trap catches people on promotional offers. If a promotion covers multiple billing periods and you cancel partway through, access ends with the current billing period, not at the end of the full promotional window.8Paramount+. How Do I Cancel My Subscription?
Confirm the Cancellation Went Through
Check your account on whichever platform you used. The status should read “canceled” or show an expiration date, which confirms auto-renewal is off. If you canceled through a third-party platform, check both that platform’s subscription page and the Paramount+ app or site so the status matches in both places.
Watch for a confirmation email and save it. It’s your proof you canceled before the next billing cycle if a charge shows up later. If no status change or email appears within a few hours, reach Paramount+ support through live chat at the support site.10Paramount+ Support. How Do I Contact Paramount+ Customer Support?
The FTC’s click-to-cancel rule, finalized in late 2024, requires subscription services to make canceling as easy as signing up. If you hit obstacles — a forced phone call, a maze of screens, a cancellation that won’t process — that rule gives you grounds to file a complaint with the FTC.11Federal Trade Commission.
