To cancel a PawChamp subscription, use the same platform that charged you: the PawChamp website, the Apple App Store, or Google Play. You need to do it at least 24 hours before your next billing date, and deleting the app from your phone does not cancel anything.
First, Find Out Who Is Actually Billing You
PawChamp runs three separate billing systems, and each one has to be canceled in its own place. Check your original purchase confirmation email or your bank statement before you do anything else.
Charges directly from PawChamp usually show up as “paw-champ.com,” “PAWCHAMP,” or a similar variant. If Apple is the biller, you’ll see something like “APPLE.COM/BILL.” Google Play charges typically read “GOOGLE*PAWCHAMP.” This matters because PawChamp’s own support team cannot stop Apple or Google charges, and Apple and Google can’t stop a website subscription. Cancel in the wrong place and the money keeps leaving your account.
Cancel a Subscription Bought on the PawChamp Website
You have three ways in: the app itself, email, or live chat. The app is fastest.
Through the App
Open PawChamp and go to your Dog Profile and Settings, then Manage Membership. Look for “Turn off autorenewal” or “Cancel Subscription,” confirm, and wait for the success screen. Wording shifts a bit between devices and app versions, but the path is Settings, Manage Membership, Cancel, Confirmation.1PawChamp. Subscription Policy
Through Email
Email support@paw-champ.com from the address tied to your account. Put “Unsubscribe” in the subject line and say clearly that you want to cancel. If you’re writing from a different address, include the account email in the body. That subject line helps their system route the request automatically.1PawChamp. Subscription Policy
Through Live Chat
Click the chat button in the bottom-right of the website or app. If you’re logged in, your account loads automatically; if not, have your account email ready.2PawChamp. Contact PawChamp PawChamp does not offer phone support.
Cancel a Subscription Bought Through the Apple App Store
If you subscribed on an iPhone or iPad, you cancel inside Apple’s settings. PawChamp cannot do this for you.1PawChamp. Subscription Policy
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap the PawChamp subscription.
- Tap Cancel Subscription. If you don’t see a cancel button and instead see an expiration date in red, it’s already canceled.
Do this at least 24 hours before your trial or billing period ends, or Apple will charge you for the next cycle.3Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple
Cancel a Subscription Bought Through Google Play
Android subscribers cancel through Google Play. Uninstalling the app does not stop the billing.4Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Tap your profile icon, then Payments and Subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Select PawChamp.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and follow the prompts.
Once canceled, you keep access to PawChamp until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.4Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play
The Two Mistakes That Cost People Money
The first is timing. PawChamp’s terms require cancellation at least 24 hours before your current trial or billing cycle ends.5PawChamp. Terms of Use Miss that window by a few hours and you’re billed for another full month at around $38. Find your renewal date on your purchase confirmation email or bank statement, and set a reminder two or three days ahead.
The second is thinking the app is the subscription. It isn’t. Deleting PawChamp from your phone leaves the subscription alive in Apple’s, Google’s, or PawChamp’s system, and the charges continue.5PawChamp. Terms of Use
Getting a Refund
PawChamp offers a money-back guarantee, but three conditions must all be true:
- You purchased on the PawChamp website. App Store and Google Play purchases are excluded and must be refunded through Apple or Google.
- You request the refund within 30 days of the original purchase.
- You actively used your assigned plan for at least 7 consecutive days during that 30-day window.
That last one is the unusual condition. If you subscribed and barely opened the app, you likely won’t qualify.6PawChamp. Money-Back Guarantee
To request a refund, email support@paw-champ.com with your account email, date of purchase, the platform you bought through, your reason, and any supporting details. Residents of EU and EEA countries have a separate 14-day withdrawal right that doesn’t require these conditions, though the refund may be reduced if you already accessed digital content.6PawChamp. If Charges Keep Coming After You Cancel
Save proof of your cancellation. Screenshot the confirmation screen, keep the email, or write down your chat case number. That documentation is what you’ll need if a charge shows up later.
Start with support@paw-champ.com if you subscribed through the website. For App Store or Google Play charges, go to Apple or Google support, since PawChamp cannot touch those.
If the company won’t fix it, two federal laws give you leverage. When the charges pulled from a debit card or bank account, the Electronic Fund Transfer Act lets you stop preauthorized recurring transfers by notifying your bank up to three business days before the next scheduled charge; your bank may ask for written confirmation within 14 days of a verbal request.7Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 USC 1693e – Preauthorized Transfers When you paid by credit card, the Fair Credit Billing Act lets you dispute the charge as a billing error, and prohibits the creditor from taking adverse action against your account while the dispute is investigated.8Federal Trade Commission. Watch your statements for at least two full billing cycles after canceling. Recurring charges can reappear from processing delays or system errors, and the sooner you spot one, the easier the dispute.
