To cancel a Phrasly subscription, log into your account at phrasly.ai, open Settings → Billing, and click the cancel option. The process takes about two minutes. One catch worth knowing before you start: Paddle, Phrasly’s payment processor, locks your renewal charge for final processing about 30 minutes before it’s scheduled, so cancel comfortably before that window or you’ll be billed for another cycle.
Cancel Through the Dashboard
Sign in with the email and password you used to create your Phrasly account. Go to Settings, then Billing. Your current plan appears there along with a cancel option. Click it and follow the confirmation prompts.
Phrasly may ask why you’re leaving before finalizing. A short answer is enough. After you confirm, the cancellation notice arrives from Paddle rather than from Phrasly directly, so watch for an email from that sender.
Watch the 30-Minute Renewal Lock
Paddle locks your upcoming charge for processing roughly 30 minutes before renewal. Once that lock kicks in, no one, including Phrasly support, can stop the charge. If your renewal is scheduled for tomorrow at noon, cancel by 11:30 a.m. at the latest, and give yourself more cushion than that in practice. To check when your next charge is set, look in the billing section of your account or find the most recent Paddle receipt in your email.
What Happens When Cancellation Takes Effect
The timing depends on where you are in the subscription:

On the 3 Day Access plan the window is tight, so beat the Paddle lock or you may renew a plan you only meant to try. No refunds or credits are issued for partial billing periods.1Phrasly.AI. Cancel by Email If the Dashboard Won’t Work
If you’re locked out or hitting a technical issue, email support@phrasly.ai from the address tied to your account.1Phrasly.AI. Phrasly.AI – Terms of Service Include:
- The email address on your account
- Your plan type (3 Day Access or Unlimited, monthly or annual)
- A clear statement that you want to cancel and stop future charges
Keep the sent email as a timestamped record. If a charge posts afterward, that record is your evidence. Phrasly’s terms don’t promise a specific turnaround for email cancellations, so don’t rely on this method when your renewal is only hours away. Use the dashboard.
When You Qualify for a Refund
Phrasly offers a 14-day refund window from the date of purchase, but eligibility is unusually strict. You qualify only if there has been zero usage on the account: no documents processed, no features used, no API calls, across the account’s entire history rather than just the current billing period. If you qualify, email support@phrasly.ai within 14 days of the charge to request it. Most people canceling have used the service at least once, so most will not qualify.

If Charges Keep Appearing After You Cancel
You can ask your bank or card issuer to revoke authorization for recurring payments from Paddle. Once you have told both the company and your bank that authorization is revoked, further charges are treated as errors, and your bank can refund them.
Use this as a last resort. Filing a chargeback before working through Phrasly’s own cancellation process can create complications, including flagged accounts and loss of access earlier than your paid period would otherwise allow. Cancel through Phrasly first, save the confirmation, and escalate to your bank only if charges continue past the point where the cancellation should have applied.
Cancellation Doesn’t Delete Your Data
Canceling deactivates your account, but Phrasly may retain some information for fraud prevention, investigations, or legal compliance. To have personal information removed, submit a data subject access request through the link in Phrasly’s privacy policy or email support@phrasly.ai.
