To cancel a Praktika subscription, you have to go through whichever platform processed your payment: Apple’s App Store, Google Play, or Stripe (used for purchases made on Praktika’s website or through social media ads). Deleting the app does not stop the charges. Neither does logging out or making a new account. Cancel at the source, and do it at least 24 hours before your next renewal date.
Find Out Who Bills You First
Praktika runs payments through three channels, and the right cancellation path depends on which one you used. Check your email for a receipt from Apple, Google, or Stripe. If no receipt turns up, look at the charge description on your bank or card statement. That line item tells you whether to follow the Apple, Android, or web steps below.

Cancel on iPhone or iPad
If Apple billed you, cancel in your device settings:
- Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Select Praktika from the active list.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
Do this more than 24 hours before your current period ends. Cancel inside that final window and Apple may still process the next charge, and Praktika has stated it cannot reverse charges initiated by Apple.2Apple Support. Cancel on Android
If Google Play billed you, open the Play Store app:
- Tap your profile icon in the upper right.
- Select Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Praktika.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.
Google Play then blocks the next scheduled charge on your linked payment method. If you want a break rather than a full exit, look for a “Pause payments” option under the Manage menu. Google Play lets some apps pause billing for one week to three months, but only if the developer has enabled it. Cancel a Web or Stripe Subscription
If you paid by credit card on Praktika’s website or through an Instagram or TikTok ad, your billing runs through Stripe. The steps:
- Go to Praktika’s Stripe billing portal, linked from Praktika’s help center.
- Log in with the email address tied to your purchase.
- Find your Praktika subscription in the active list.
- Open it, click Cancel Subscription, and follow the prompts.

Canceling a Free Trial Before It Charges
Praktika’s free trials convert to paid subscriptions automatically unless you cancel first. On Apple devices, cancel more than 24 hours before the trial ends. Cancel inside that last 24 hours and the first charge can still go through, and Praktika’s support team has said it cannot override Apple’s billing in those cases.4Praktika Help Center. Cancel the moment you know you don’t want to continue. You keep your trial through its scheduled end date either way, so there’s no downside to canceling early.
What You Keep After Canceling
Canceling stops future renewals, not current access. You keep premium features through the end of the billing period you already paid for.5Praktika. Getting a Refund If You’ve Already Been Charged
Where you ask depends on who took the money.
For Apple charges, go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, choose “Request a refund,” pick a reason, select the Praktika charge, and submit. Apple reviews each request individually and approval is not guaranteed; recent charges and technical issues tend to fare better.7Apple Support. For Google Play charges, submit through your Play Store purchase history or Google’s support page. The sooner after the charge you ask, the better the odds.
For Stripe charges, Praktika’s terms say paid fees are non-refundable except where law requires otherwise, and that the company may consider requests case by case at its discretion.5Praktika. Keep a screenshot or confirmation email of the cancellation. If a charge still shows up afterward, that record makes disputing it with your bank or the app store far simpler.
