How to Cancel Rock Identifier App Subscription on iPhone, Mac, or Android

To cancel your Rock Identifier app subscription, open your subscription settings on Apple or Google Play and cancel it there. Deleting the app from your phone does not stop the billing. The cancellation takes under a minute, and you keep premium access until the current billing period ends.

Find Out Who’s Billing You

Rock Identifier runs its payments entirely through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The developer does not handle payments directly and has no access to your payment information, so there is no separate billing portal.1Rock Identifier. Terms of Service

Check your bank or credit card statement. Apple purchases usually appear as “APPLE.COM/BILL.” Google Play charges appear as “GOOGLE*” followed by a description. If you’re not sure, search your email for a receipt containing “Rock Identifier.” Whichever platform sent the receipt is where you cancel.

After you confirm, the renewal date switches to an expiration date and no further charges go through. Premium features stay active until that expiration date, so there’s no reason to wait.

The screen updates right away to confirm the cancellation, and premium access stays live through the end of the current billing cycle. Canceling During the Free Trial

Rock Identifier typically offers a 7-day free trial before the annual subscription begins. If you only wanted to test the app, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Waiting until the final day, or the day the trial expires, is too late.

The steps are the same as above for your platform. One difference catches people off guard: once you cancel during a trial, you generally lose premium access right away rather than keeping it through the remaining trial days, because nothing has been paid yet.

Getting a Refund

If a charge already posted and you want it back, go through the platform that billed you. Rock Identifier’s terms route all refund requests to Apple or Google.1Rock Identifier. Terms of Service

If the charge is still pending, wait for the email receipt before submitting.

Google Play Refunds

Within 48 hours of the charge, you can request a refund directly through Google Play, and it’s usually processed automatically. After 48 hours, Google directs you to the developer, and the developer’s policies apply.6Google Play Help. If You’re Still Being Charged After Canceling

First, check whether the charge is the final billing cycle you already paid for. If the charge date falls before your cancellation confirmation, it’s probably the last legitimate charge, not a billing error.

If a charge genuinely posted after you canceled, contact Apple or Google support first. Both can pull up your subscription history and verify whether the cancellation registered on their end.

As a last resort, dispute the charge with your bank or card issuer. Under federal rules on electronic fund transfers, you generally have 60 days from the date the charge appears on your statement to report an unauthorized or incorrect transaction, and reporting within two business days of discovering the problem limits your potential liability to $50.7Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Try the platform first; filing chargebacks while the platform can still fix the issue sometimes leads to the account being flagged.
