To cancel your Shipt membership, log into your account on the Shipt app or website, open Account, select Shipt Membership Profile, scroll to the bottom, and choose to cancel. The whole thing takes a couple of minutes. The one exception is if you signed up through Target Circle 360, because Target handles that billing and you have to cancel through Target instead.
Cancel in the App or on the Website

Cancel if You Signed Up Through Target Circle 360
This is where people get stuck. If your Shipt membership came through Target Circle 360, you cannot cancel it through the Shipt app or website. Transferring from a standalone Shipt membership to Target Circle 360 is a separate situation, not a cancellation. Cancel a Free Trial Before It Converts
Shipt’s 14-day free trial automatically converts to the plan you selected at signup once the trial ends.6Shipt. Check your signup confirmation email for the exact date the trial started. Count 14 days from there and cancel a day early to give yourself a buffer. There’s no prorated refund if you miss the window and get charged.
What Happens After You Cancel
Your membership doesn’t shut off the moment you hit cancel. You keep member benefits, including free delivery on orders over $35, through the end of the billing period you already paid for.7Shipt. Target Circle 360 Three months into an annual plan, you still have nine months of service. Monthly subscribers keep access until the current month expires. Once that period ends, your account goes inactive on its own.
Shipt’s terms indicate that if you cancel and receive a refund, benefits end immediately at the time of cancellation. The help pages don’t spell out which standard cancellations qualify for refunds. A Note for Student Members
Shipt’s discounted student membership requires annual verification of enrollment.
