To cancel your Swiggy One membership, open the Swiggy app, go to the Swiggy One section of your profile, scroll to the help options, and start a chat with customer support to request cancellation. The fee is non-refundable, so you won’t get money back for unused days, but your free deliveries and other benefits stay active until the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for.
Cancelling Inside the Swiggy App
Swiggy doesn’t give you a one-tap cancel button. The request has to go through support chat.
- Tap the profile icon, then open the Swiggy One section to see your current plan.
- Scroll to the bottom of the membership page to the FAQ or help section and select the option about cancelling your membership.
- Tap “Chat with us” to connect with support.
- In the chat, select “Yes, cancel my membership,” then confirm a second time when prompted.
That second confirmation is where people get caught. Tap through too fast and the cancellation may not register. Wait for a confirmation message on screen before you close the chat, and keep a screenshot.
Turn Off Auto-Renewal Instead
If you’re mid-cycle and just want to stop the next charge, look for the auto-renewal toggle inside the Swiggy One section of your profile. Switching it off lets your current benefits run out naturally when the period ends, with no further billing. There’s no pause-and-resume option, so your real choices are cancel, let it lapse, or keep paying.
If You Subscribed Through Google Play or Apple
In-app cancellation won’t work if your billing is handled by Google or Apple. The giveaway is that no cancel option appears in your Swiggy membership settings.
Google Play
Open the Google Play app on your Android device, go to your subscriptions, tap Swiggy One, and select “Cancel subscription.” Deleting the Swiggy app does not stop the charges — Google will keep billing you until you cancel through Play Store settings. If Swiggy One isn’t in your subscriptions list, you’re likely signed into a different Google account than the one you subscribed with; switch accounts and look again.1Google Play Help. Apple
On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then “Subscriptions.” Find Swiggy One and tap “Cancel Subscription.” If no cancel button appears or you see a red expiration message, the subscription is already cancelled.2Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple
With both stores, your Swiggy One benefits continue until the paid period ends.
Refunds: What You Will and Won’t Get Back
Swiggy One is non-refundable. Cancelling partway through a billing cycle doesn’t trigger a partial refund for the days you don’t use. That’s why turning off auto-renewal before the next cycle starts is usually the smarter move if you’re undecided — you avoid the next charge while still using what you’ve already paid for.
One narrow exception: if you upgrade from Swiggy One to the premium One BLCK tier, Swiggy’s policy provides a pro-rata refund for the unused days of your original membership, typically processed in four to seven business days. Outside that scenario, refund requests are routinely denied.
After You Cancel
Swiggy sends a confirmation by in-app notification or to your registered email once the cancellation goes through. Save it. If a charge shows up later, that confirmation is your proof. Free deliveries, Instamart perks, and Dineout discounts stay live until the current period expires; cancelling stops the next charge, it doesn’t cut off access early.
If the Cancellation Doesn’t Go Through
The chat process isn’t always clean. Some users report that the chat appears to confirm cancellation but the membership stays active, or that agents redirect the conversation without processing the request. If that happens, escalate.
Email Swiggy Directly
Write to support@swiggy.in with your registered phone number, screenshots of the chat where cancellation was confirmed, and a clear statement that you want the membership cancelled. Give a firm deadline of one to two business days for a response, and keep the email thread as evidence.3Swiggy. Contact Us
File a Consumer Complaint
If Swiggy still doesn’t resolve it, you can take the complaint to India’s National Consumer Helpline. Call 1915 or use the portal at consumerhelpline.gov.in. Complaints can also be submitted by WhatsApp or SMS at 8800001915, or by email at nch-ca@gov.in. You’ll get a docket number to track the case.4Department of Consumer Affairs.
