How to Cancel Tailor Brands Subscription: Prep Steps and Refunds

To cancel a Tailor Brands subscription, log into your account and deactivate the plan under Manage Account, or email support@tailorbrands.com before your renewal date. The catch most people miss is timing: Tailor Brands can charge your card up to 30 days before the next billing period starts, so “before renewal” really means at least a month before the date on your account.1Tailor Brands. The 30-Day Early Billing Window

Tailor Brands’ terms allow the company to bill your payment method up to 30 days before your next billing period begins. If your annual plan renews on August 1, the charge can hit as early as July 2. Once it processes, the default position is that all fees are non-refundable.1Tailor Brands. Tailor Brands Terms of Service

Log in, find your renewal date in the billing section, and count backward. Cancel before that 30-day window opens, not before the renewal date itself.

Cancel Through Your Account Dashboard

The fastest route is inside your account:

  • Log in and click “Account” in the top-right corner.
  • Select “Manage Account.”
  • Go to “Purchases” and choose the business tied to the plan you want to end.
  • Select the plan and click “Deactivate.”
  • Follow every confirmation prompt until you see a final message that the cancellation went through.

Do not close the browser early. If you skip the last confirmation screen, the subscription can remain active and you’ll be charged at the next cycle. When the final screen loads, take a screenshot. That’s your proof from your side.

The FTC’s click-to-cancel rule, which took effect in 2025, requires any business that lets you sign up online to let you cancel online just as easily.2Federal Trade Commission. Federal Trade Commission Announces Final Click-to-Cancel Rule Making It Easier for Consumers to End Recurring Subscriptions If the dashboard flow buries the option or forces extra hoops the sign-up didn’t require, that’s the rule to point to in a complaint.

Cancel by Email

If the dashboard isn’t cooperating, or you want a written record, email support@tailorbrands.com and request cancellation. Include the account email, the name on the account, and your renewal date so support can locate the subscription quickly.1Tailor Brands. Tailor Brands Terms of Service You can also submit a ticket through the help center’s “Submit a Request” form.

Keep the sent email or ticket confirmation. If a charge appears after your request, that timestamp is your strongest piece of evidence in a dispute. Tickets are typically addressed within one to two business days. Silence isn’t the same as success. Follow up if you haven’t received a confirmation within 48 hours.

Do These Things Before You Click Deactivate

Once your account is off, you lose the dashboard, and getting back in to fix something takes more time and often more money. Handle these first.

Download Every Logo File

You keep commercial and personal rights to your logo after your subscription ends, but only if you paid in full, followed the terms of service, and downloaded the files while your account was still active.1Tailor Brands. Tailor Brands Terms of Service After deactivation, the design tools are gone. Pull every variation and file format you might use later.

Transfer Your Domain

If you bought a domain through Tailor Brands, cancellation does not transfer it to you. Email support@tailorbrands.com and request a domain transfer separately. Tailor Brands will send transfer instructions, but the domain won’t be released until any outstanding charges on the account are paid.1Tailor Brands. Tailor Brands Terms of Service Start this before you cancel. Communicating with support about a domain after the account is dead is harder, and a domain left unattended can lapse.

Replace Your Registered Agent

This is the one that catches LLC owners. If Tailor Brands is your registered agent with the state, your business is legally required to keep an agent on file. Cancel first and your LLC can fall out of compliance, miss legal notices, take a default judgment, or be administratively dissolved.

Pick a new registered agent service, file the change with your state’s business agency, and wait for the state to process the update. Filing fees for a registered agent change vary by state but typically run $0 to $30. Only then cancel Tailor Brands.

Refunds and Disputes

The default is direct: all fees are non-refundable.1Tailor Brands. Tailor Brands Terms of Service Cancel mid-cycle and you don’t get a prorated refund. Your paid features stay accessible through the end of the current cycle, but no money comes back.

A narrow exception applies to certain add-on services the terms call “Added Value Services.” If you bought one and haven’t received the deliverables, you can request a full refund within 30 days of purchase.1Tailor Brands. Tailor Brands Terms of Service

If you were charged after canceling properly, dispute the charge with your card issuer. Bring the cancellation confirmation email, dashboard screenshots, and any support correspondence.

Confirm the Cancellation Actually Went Through

Check two things after you cancel. First, look for a confirmation email from Tailor Brands in the inbox tied to the account and save it. Second, log back in and open the billing section. The plan should no longer be set to renew. If it still shows active, the cancellation didn’t complete. Run the flow again or escalate by email.

Paid features stay available until the current billing cycle ends, then the account drops to limited access. Watch your bank or card statements for at least two billing cycles afterward. If an unexpected charge shows up, the confirmation email and screenshots make it a short conversation with your card issuer.
