To cancel a Truecaller Premium subscription, you go to the app store that billed you: Google Play on Android, or the Settings app on an iPhone. Truecaller does not handle the billing for app-store purchases, so it cannot cancel the subscription for you. The whole process takes about two minutes once you’re in the right place.
Cancel on Android Through Google Play
Every Truecaller Premium subscription bought on an Android phone is billed through Google Play. Open the Play Store, tap your profile icon in the upper right, and select Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Google may ask why you’re canceling. That screen is optional and doesn’t change anything. Once you confirm, future charges stop and your Premium features stay active through the end of the billing period you already paid for.

Cancel on iPhone Through Settings
Apple handles all Truecaller subscriptions bought on an iPhone or iPad, and Truecaller’s own iOS support page simply points you to Apple’s instructions.3Truecaller. If there’s no Cancel button and you see an expiration date in red, the subscription is already canceled.4Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple
Timing matters. Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date. Any closer and Apple may process the next charge before the cancellation takes effect.5Apple. Truecaller Premium Caller ID – App Store
Deleting the App Does Not Cancel the Subscription
This is where people lose money. Uninstalling Truecaller from your phone does nothing to your subscription. The billing lives in your Google or Apple account, not on the device, so charges keep arriving on schedule. People often notice months later.
If you’ve already deleted the app, you don’t need to reinstall it. On Android, open play.google.com in a browser or reinstall the Play Store app and cancel from there. What Happens After You Cancel
Canceling doesn’t cut you off immediately. Premium features stay active until the end of the billing cycle you already paid for, and then your account drops back to the free version of Truecaller.6Truecaller. Truecaller Premium – Be Spam Free, Be Ad Free
If you’re on a first-time trial and cancel before it ends, you won’t be charged at all. Once the trial has ended, no refunds are processed for time left on the current billing period.2Truecaller. How Do I Cancel My Premium Subscription (Android)
Getting a Refund If You Were Charged
If a renewal went through before you canceled, the refund request goes to the store that billed you, not to Truecaller.
Google Play
For charges within the last 48 hours, you can request a refund directly from Google. Go to play.google.com, click your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Budget & order history. Find the Truecaller charge, click Report a problem, and fill out the refund form. Google usually responds within one to four days.7Google Play Help. Apple
Apple takes refund requests at reportaproblem.apple.com. Sign in with your Apple ID, find the Truecaller charge, and select Request a refund. Apple reviews each case individually and doesn’t guarantee approval, though unwanted renewal charges are a common reason refunds get granted.9Apple Support. Canceling the Subscription Is Not the Same as Deleting the Account
Canceling your Premium subscription stops future charges and downgrades you to the free tier. Your phone number, name, and profile stay in Truecaller’s database, and other users can still see your caller ID when you call them.
Deleting your Truecaller account is a separate action done from inside the app, under Settings, in the Privacy Center, by selecting Deactivate.10Truecaller. How Do I Deactivate and Delete My Truecaller Account If you have an active subscription, cancel it in the app store first. Deleting your account does not stop Google or Apple from billing you.
If you can’t get the app-store process to work or you’re locked out of your account, Truecaller takes help requests through its ticket form.11Truecaller Support. Submit a Ticket
