How to Cancel Unsubby: Account, App Store, and Refunds

To cancel Unsubby, log in at unsubby.com, open your subscription settings, and turn off the recurring Premium plan; if you signed up through the Apple App Store or Google Play, you have to cancel inside that store instead. Premium runs $9.95 every four weeks, and Unsubby also sells one-time cancellation letters for $21.95 each, so the right path depends on which product you actually bought and where you paid for it.1Unsubby. Cancel From Your Unsubby Account

Sign in at unsubby.com and open the profile icon or settings menu in the upper-right corner of the dashboard. Go to the billing or subscription section, select your active Premium plan, and choose the option to cancel or turn off auto-renewal. Once you confirm, the account reverts to the Free plan at the end of the current billing cycle.

If you’re still inside the 7-day free trial, cancelling before it ends means no charge at all, and your account drops to the Free plan automatically.1Unsubby. Pricing and Plans One day past the trial window triggers the first $9.95 charge, so set a reminder if you’re only testing the service.

Cancel Through the App Store or Google Play

If you subscribed on your phone through Apple or Google, cancelling inside your Unsubby account will not stop the charges. The app store handles the billing, so the cancellation has to happen there.

iPhone or iPad

Open Settings, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. Find Unsubby, tap it, and tap Cancel Subscription. If there’s no cancel button, or the text is red and says the subscription expired, it’s already cancelled.2Apple Support. If You Want to Cancel a Subscription From Apple For a free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends to avoid the first charge.

Android

Open the Google Play app, tap your profile icon, then Payments and Subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Select Unsubby and tap Cancel Subscription. Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription, which is where a lot of people get caught.3Google Play Help. Cancel, Pause, or Change a Subscription on Google Play

When the Dashboard Won’t Cooperate

If you can’t find the cancel option or you hit an error, email support.us@unsubby.com or use the contact form at unsubby.com/en-us/contact.4Unsubby. Contact Include your registered email, a plain statement that you want to cancel, and roughly when you signed up. Save the reply as your confirmation.

One boundary worth flagging: the $21.95 cancellation letter is a one-time purchase, not a recurring subscription, so there is nothing to cancel. If you want your money back on that product, you’re asking for a refund, not a cancellation.

Refunds and the 30-Day Guarantee

Unsubby advertises a 100% money-back guarantee. Refund requests have to reach Unsubby’s support within 30 days of the purchase, and you should ask them directly rather than opening a chargeback with your bank.5Unsubby. Understanding Your Transactions Unsubby’s policy treats a chargeback as disqualifying for a refund through their own system and warns that it may lead to account restrictions or added costs.

For the $21.95 letter product, if Unsubby has already mailed the cancellation letter to the company you wanted to leave, they’ll still refund you, but they can’t pull the letter back. To resume service with that other company, you’d have to contact it directly.5Unsubby. Understanding Your Transactions

If Charges Keep Showing Up

Watch your bank or card statements for at least two billing cycles after you cancel. If a new Unsubby charge appears, start with Unsubby’s support and send your confirmation email or a screenshot showing the cancellation went through. Their refund policy should cover it.

If Unsubby doesn’t fix it, federal law gives you a way to stop the charges through your bank. You can halt preauthorized electronic debits by notifying your bank at least three business days before the next scheduled transfer. A phone call works, though the bank may ask for written confirmation within 14 days, and you don’t need the merchant’s permission.6Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 US Code 1693e – Preauthorized Transfers

For a charge that has already posted, file an error report with the bank. The bank has to investigate and reach a determination within 10 business days of your notice; if it needs longer, it can take up to 45 days, but it must provisionally credit your account during the extended investigation.7Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 US Code 1693f – Error Resolution For a credit card charge, contact the card issuer to open a billing dispute, which runs through a similar process.

Cut Off Unsubby’s Access to Your Bank Data

Cancelling stops the billing, but it doesn’t automatically disconnect Unsubby from your bank or card data. If the link was set up through Plaid, disconnect it separately at my.plaid.com. Open the Overview tab, find Unsubby under connected apps, scroll to Manage Connections, select Disconnect App, pick the financial institution, and confirm. Disconnecting stops future data sharing but doesn’t erase what Unsubby already collected; for deletion, ask Unsubby directly.8Plaid. How Do I Disconnect My Financial Accounts From an App

Not sure whether Plaid was involved? Search your email for a message from Plaid sent when you first linked accounts, or log into the Plaid portal and see whether Unsubby shows up in the list of connected apps.
