How to Cancel Upskillist Subscription and Get a Refund: Website or App Store

To cancel an Upskillist subscription, log in to your Members Area, open your student profile, go to Membership and Payments, and click “Cancel Membership & benefits” before your next payment date. If you signed up through Google Play or the Apple App Store, you have to cancel through that store instead; the website route won’t stop app-store billing. Upskillist charges $39.99 per month after the trial, and the charges continue until you actively cancel.

Cancel on the Upskillist Website

If you subscribed directly at upskillist.com, work through these steps from your account dashboard:1Upskillist. Upskillist Terms of Use

  • Sign in to your Members Area with the email and password tied to the account.
  • Click the profile icon to open your student profile.
  • Under Membership and Payments, click “Cancel Membership & benefits.”
  • Decline the alternatives Upskillist offers, which include pausing your membership or switching to a lower-price plan.
  • Confirm the cancellation. Some users are asked to complete it over the phone using a free number shown on screen.

The deadline is your next payment date. Upskillist’s terms don’t build in a 24- or 48-hour buffer; they say that unless you cancel before the payment date, you authorize the next charge. Cancel with time to spare rather than on the day of billing.

Cancel Through Google Play or the App Store

If you subscribed through an app store, canceling on the Upskillist website will not stop the charges. The platform that handles your billing is the only place that can end the subscription. This is the most common reason people think they canceled and keep getting billed.

Google Play

What You Keep and Lose After Canceling

You keep access to recordings of classes you’ve already attended, but you lose access to upcoming classes and can’t add new courses. If you canceled through Google Play or the App Store, you still have access through the end of the billing period you already paid for.1Upskillist. Upskillist Terms of Use

Upskillist’s FAQ describes recording access in two different ways, saying recordings are available “as long as you have an account with us” in one place and “for as long as you are subscribed as a member” in another.4Upskillist. Frequently Asked Questions Treat anything you want to keep as potentially disappearing, and download or screenshot it before your subscription ends.

Refunds Within 14 Days

Upskillist’s terms state that for most services you have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days and get a refund. That right doesn’t apply if you bought one-off digital content and Upskillist has already given you access to it. Outside the 14-day window, the company says it does not refund or credit partial membership periods, lessons, or courses.1Upskillist. Upskillist Terms of Use

If you’ve just signed up and know the platform isn’t right for you, act inside that window. After it closes, the practical move is to cancel going forward and use whatever time remains on your current billing cycle.

If Charges Keep Coming After You Cancel

Start by emailing support@upskillist.com with your cancellation confirmation and a refund request. If that doesn’t resolve it, dispute the charge with your bank or credit card issuer.

Under federal law, you have 60 days from the date you receive a billing statement to send your card issuer a written dispute for charges you believe are errors.5Office of the Law Revision Counsel. 15 USC 1666 – Correction of Billing Errors Check your statements for at least two billing cycles after you cancel. That’s enough time to confirm the charges have stopped and to catch any stray renewal within the dispute window.
