How to Cancel Walmart Delivery Service: Online, Phone, or Pause

To cancel Walmart’s delivery service, sign into your Walmart+ account on walmart.com or the app and cancel through your membership settings, or call Walmart Customer Care at (800) 924-9206. The whole process takes about two minutes. If you’re on a paid plan ($12.95 per month or $98 per year plus tax), your benefits stay active until the end of the current billing cycle. Free trials are the exception, and they end the moment you cancel.

Cancel Online Through Your Account

Sign in to the account tied to your Walmart+ membership, then work through your account page in this order:

  • Select Walmart+.
  • Select Manage membership.
  • Select Manage next to your Walmart+ plan.
  • Select Cancel next to “Cancel membership.”
  • Choose Confirm cancellation on the next screen.

That final screen also offers a retention deal and a “Remind Me Later” email that would ping you three days before renewal. If you want out now, skip both and hit confirm. The page will refresh with a cancellation notice, and a confirmation email should follow. Save it. If a charge shows up later, that email is your proof the cancellation went through before the billing date.

Cancel by Phone

If the website gives you trouble or you’d rather talk to a person, call Walmart Customer Care at (800) 924-9206 and ask to cancel your Walmart+ membership.1Walmart. Free Trials End Immediately

This is the part that catches people. A paid membership keeps its benefits through the billing cycle, but Walmart’s Terms of Use say canceling during a trial can result in immediate termination of benefits.1Walmart. Walmart+ Membership Terms of Use You don’t get to use the remaining trial days.

If you know you don’t want to keep a trial, wait until the last day before it converts. Cancel earlier and you lose delivery and every other perk right away. Cancel too late and you’re billed for the first full month or year, depending on which plan the trial rolls into.

What Happens After You Cancel

On a paid membership, your benefits stay active until the end of the current billing cycle. That includes free store delivery on orders of $35 or more, free shipping with no order minimum, fuel savings, and the rest of the perks.2Walmart. Walmart+ Membership Cancel three months into an annual plan and you still have nine months of access. No Refunds

Walmart’s Terms of Use are blunt: no refunds will be issued.1Walmart. Walmart+ Membership Terms of Use That applies to both the monthly and annual plans. There’s no prorated refund for unused months on an annual membership and no partial refund on a monthly plan you barely touched.

The one situation worth pushing back on is an unauthorized charge, meaning a signup you didn’t make or a bill that hit after a confirmed cancellation. Call Walmart Customer Care at (800) 924-9206 with your confirmation email in hand. If Walmart won’t reverse it, your bank or credit card issuer can open a chargeback dispute. That email matters here more than anywhere else.

Pausing Instead of Canceling

If you want a break from the charges without losing the membership for good, Walmart lets you pause. A pause lasts one month at a time, and you can use it up to three times per year. You won’t be billed, but you also won’t have access to any benefits until the membership resumes. Pause isn’t available on a free trial or a Paramount+ Premium upgrade. The path is the same as canceling: Walmart+, then Manage membership, then look for the pause option in place of cancel.3Walmart. Manage Walmart+ Membership
